I only mocked the watch out of those. I have yet to see a convincing use for it. With iPhone, iPad and these I will always stick to my Apple rule: Never buy a first generation anything from them.

@@thompsonnoel that’s funny, I actually find the watch to be the most useful one for me personally, followed by the iPad and finally the phone. Agreed, I rarely ever buy first generation tech especially from a company who has never worked with VR before (although I’ll admit they’ve dipped their toes in AR before).

One of the very real effects could be language translation. AI is getting good at listening to audio and translating it into text, so just imagine seeing subtitles irl.

This isn’t a first gen product tho, the original iPhone was, it could access the internet, play music, take pictures, make calls and text, AND had a touch screen. Mixed reality has been around for a decade, and the other companies doing it aren’t charging $3,500 ($3,800 if you wear glasses). The Meta Quest 3 is on an equal, if not better, level than this and is only $500.

@@IsmailAyKayi you clearly have never used them. The stems are for the touch controls. Way better than the dogshit Samsung beans or any other touch control earbuds without stems.

A lot of stuff is still in beta so don’t expect it to work like magic. Things like the eye tracking, hand gestures or basically any other features except of the ones you named are pretty well made. These are all just software issues

Depends on what you want. Meta Quest seems to be targeting the gaming market, while Apple is targeting or seems to be targeting the wider consumer market. Compare value, financially, of phone games to console and PC games. Phone games earn way more. So then the Apple Vision Pro could catapult VR and AR to the mainstream, provoking even Google and Samsung to create their own versions.

I won't buy it, but I think they will lower the price for more of the average consumer later, but it's apple, so we'll just have to see (Also, I am a galaxy user who doesn't particularly like apple but the way they might expand on the tech industry)

I tried the Apple Vision Pro myself since I booked a free demo to use one with an apple specialist. It was great, I loved it, but I wouldn’t say it was “spectacular” or “amazing”, tbh, like how apple and other people hyped the Vision Pro. It was quite heavy, but not too heavy to put pressure on parts of my face, it was very comfy, like others have said. Overall, I just found the experience fascinating, one thing is for sure, I definitely wouldn’t buy while in its current state, especially with the incredibly horrendous price tag that it comes with, but then you gotta pay an extra $250 AUD just to get prescription lenses since I wear prescription glasses, and I can’t wear my glasses with the Vision Pro. I rate the experience I had with it a 9/10 or 9.5/10. TL;DR: I used Apple Vision Pro for the first time. I loved the experience, it was a fascinating and great experience. One thing is for sure, I’m not buying it in its current state with that tremendous price tag. I rate my experience with it a 9/10 or 9.5/10.

The FaceTime isn't really that bad imo, things start somewhere. This is essentially the first iphone so it pretty impressive all things considered. The transparent eye thing is definitely goofy tho, not that its a bad idea, but maybe that a feature best saved for a future model when it achieves the look and feeling you're going for

I think I got my first smartphone in 2015. Before that, I lived life differently. Now, I'm constantly on my phone; and the only app I have is KZread. No social media whatsoever no movie streaming. I can only imagine how much more time others spend on their phones. Back in 2005, people actually looked up when you spoke to them. Now, you'll have to look into digital eyes

By the time Apple glasses exist, if they ever would, they would most likely be 10+ years in the future, most likely more. If people keep hating on it Apple won’t have enough money to make future generations. Also, stuff with Persona can change with updates. It’s not that bad, and much better than just being a concept, it’s a REAL thing. I think that’s just awesome.

FaceTime on my Avp actually looks better than what Apple showed off. And it’ll get better and better with each update. If you know anything about vr, you should know that… it’s a process. This thing is amazing, and will be even greater for years to come. Let’s see what happens in June, 2024 WWDC.

As a apple user, I sincerely believe the apple vision pro is the worlds biggest peice of money waste that could ever exist

Apple might hot on trail for offering this gadget to the military.. After upgraded certain flaws and shortcomings The military would easily paid them tenfold the current MSRP..

Everything cannot be as expected to be perfect there will always be problems in the future or present

I'm not a fan of Meta but TBH the Quest 3 is way better and more functional plus it costs only $500. The Vision Pro is a $3500 ipad vr with much worse navigation, typing, battery life...

iphone: we have made a futuristic vr that you can take with 2 hour battery life Samsung: we have the ak9 thunderbolt a 155 mm cannon that can be fired with a 20mm shell its owned by korea we make the tanks korea buys them
