Best streaming device ever. I had no idea that you could do all those things. I kind of figured that there would be a bunch of features I didn’t know about.

The single feature which makes the Apple TV better than any other streaming device - whether or not one is in the Apple ecosystem - is folder organization, for quick access to all apps. It was briefly mentioned in the video but not demonstrated. It works similarly to iOS. So all sports, workout, cooking/lifestyle, children’s, utility, local, etc apps can be grouped together and out of the way of one’s main go-to apps but still easy to locate when one wants them. AFAIK, no other streaming operating system currently does this and tvOS has been doing it since 2015. Accessibility settings also has many hidden options no other device offers. Well worth the price difference.

I loved using the HomePod mini stereo pair with my Apple TV 4K but every time I watched any streaming service I would constantly get the audio out of sync words and their mouths wouldn’t match nothing I tried fixed it so I just stopped using the minis but anyways your audio was inconsistent in the video but great video as always otherwise ! No idea why it worked but I had same thing and ruined both match dynamic range and match frame rate off . Picture didn’t suffer and audio in sync. Haven’t tried if I can have one of those on. Mine are the bigger HomePods but may work on yours too

HOW do you change the volume from the Iphone?

I just accidentally discovered that my Hisense U8K remote works on the Apple TV. All the navigation buttons work as well as the back button. Long press on the back button takes you to the home screen.

Just so you know, if only using the click function, double-click the up arrow to close an app. I find the swiping role very annoying at times. A slight touch will activate the feature, which I hate.

Yes any Xbox or ps4 or ps5 controller will work and Apple also sells one on its site

Double-click the Home (TV icon) button to reveal all previously-opened (not just two) apps to switch between/among.

I don't know why my Apple TV takes so long to reload video when I exit and go to another app (youtube, netflix), I just bought it 2 days ago (my internet speed is 330mbps) )

Do you have a Govee LED backlight? Can that be turned on/off with the Apple TV?

I do and no, it can’t be controlled with my Apple TV but Alex or the app on my iPhone can control it.

You swipe up to delete apps but how do you delete apps if you disable the touch pad and only use clicks? I can’t figure it out..thanks!

go to your control center on your iphone and click airplay button to select audio output

I’m pretty happy with my Apple TV, except the remote is not great. It’s useable, but whoever decided to put the mute button where the pause/play button was should be fired immediately.

The audio can only be as good as the speakers used and if they are only the ones in a flat-panel TV, there’s your reason.
