With Windows 11 on ARM officially launching for Parallels, I couldn't help testing out a proper Windows game without Proton support. Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition may not be that demanding, but this was a very impressive experience to be running on a thin and light ultrabook with no fan, oh, and in a virtualized environment!

How many fps you get in 1080p on medium qualitty ? any option pass online bench ? thanks !
yes but the poor benchmarks make me need to use crossover to play multiplayer (benchmarks come out twice as good)

Do it work with crossover? 1-2 years ago the game had a massive late game frame drop problem while multiplayer games so it was unplayable.

@@andie.4342 I play every day multiplayer no lag on an m1 mac 16gb 8 core gpu highest graphic settings it gets a 1300 benchmark score
Can AOE2DE be played on M2 macbook pro 14 inch?

It's only possible with other M1 Macbook with parallels.
