FYI, Storm Troopers are NOT clones. Clones started getting replaced shortly after Order 66 was executed and were eventually replaced completely.

@@Link_t. also consider that Android fans can also be split among the different Android providers, there may be more total Android fans, but they might not all follow every single seller and instead stick to one brand. In that sense a person who buys a Huawei phone won’t watch the Samsung events, and Samsung users won’t be focusing on Google events.

@Dmon1Unlimited here in Asia/ Middle East everyone HAS to sell it with the box and receipt+ everything in the box (charger +(earphones of android))to get a decent price . Or else people pay less than half. So here everyone has to buy a new charger with the new phone because they sell everything with the phone

Stormtroopers are actually not clones as of episode 4. Clones were progressively phased out after episode. So the ones in The Mandalorian are not clones anymore

Regarding the boxes. The iphone boxes are all i hang onto. One reason is resale and another is shipping. I have had people in the past ask me if i still had the box when selling. Also places like cex give more if you held onto the box and accessories.

using third party chargers is questionable for apple. you must really be careful to get quality one cause of tristar chip which is really sensitive. idk if it is still this way on the new ones, but it was really problem on old ones.

Hi guys, Lew we are in a state of lockdown in the UK where some shops are only allowed to click and collect but almost all non essential stores are closed as the numbers of Covid have risen over the last few months. The government should've have done more before but always wait till its too late

I've started documenting my boxes. I take a picture of the main sides of the box if I want to remember the information of the product then get rid of the box for certain items. I have a bin full of boxes under my bed. It is dead space anyway.

If your phone is ever stolen, you can use your IMEI number from the BOX to put a sim block. It’s not like the box is taking any space you could use for your furniture!

Look at Zendure. They have made international adapter, with not only socket but also 2 USB-C and 3 USB-A all build in very portable body. On top of that if u use just one USB-C it can have 61W output, so it basically replaces all your iPhone, smartphone and Mac adapters. I have been using the iPad’s brick since the dawn of time. I have so many iPhone’s bricks in the boxes still.

I don’t generally hang onto boxes of equipment that I purchased. However when I purchased my PS4 Spiderman Limited addition consul, I was able to sell just the box on eBay for around $100. Yes you read that right. Someone paid me $100 for just the box. Now that might be a little different than a cell phone box or something. A lot of collectors of rare consoles tend to want to keep the boxes with them for collectors value.. I cant you have my Apple boxes for several years after I purchased the product. It’s not necessarily because I’m trying to collect them. Generally when I purchase an iPhone I already have a cable and power brick that I’m using from the iPhone that I’m coming from. So generally I will open the box and take the phone out and put the box away. I’ll leave the cord and all of the stuff that came in it in the box. Then I know where it is for future use if I need it.

Just wanted to let you know the reason there was only one apple store in Ireland is that its only northern Ireland that is in the UK so it wasn't showing the stores in Ireland. hope that makes sense:)

GaN chargers are not really different from other classic chargers, they just use GaN switching transistors which are more efficient and smaller than regular silicon based mosfet transistors. By increasing the efficiency, it needs less cooling surface and they can squeeze more power in less volume.

A lot of Apple stores in the UK are within bigger shopping centres which will be closed, or have barely any access for curb side pickups. Watching from Canada but I lived in Glasgow and the Apple store in Braehead is in a shopping centre and the Buchanan street one is in a strip mall kinda situation in a super busy area curbside wouldn’t work

Got my first GaN 120w charger in December. Purchased from China. Works pretty well. I just dumped the charger from Apple for my MBP. With the new charger, I could charge my phone and my MBP 15 together, yeah the MBP 15 requires 90w to power but the charger, comes with 2 type c and 1 use A ports, could not reach 90w while charging both device. But my MPB is got charged. PS: it is a bad idea to charge your device with lower-than-standard wats, but it works. It also charges my new Dell XPS 17, which requires 135w to charge, again, bad idea, but it just work fine. One note to others who is considering to buy one, is that the charger itself dose generate more heat than standard charger, it is not HOT, but close to it.

How about to do laptops charging Wirelessly like Airpods ?

I do like my quick charger that came with my 11pro however I stopped using it nightly as it degraded my battery health. Now with my 12pro max I only use the fast charger brick if I need a quick boost. at night I only use the 5w charger. Would be interesting if these android phones with 80w chargers were able to also see battery health. im sure it would be a S show

Nope just turn on optimized charging and you’ll be fine. Also the other charging bricks have smart features that Apple didn’t even try having till 2020

great charger already out: SlimQ (kickstarter) I use the 65 and 100 w, as well as the Anker PD1 (for my Apple Pad) and the Satechi 100W ( ST-TC 100 GM). They all are amazing in size, speed and most of all, never get hot!!! And the major advantage for traveler or minimalist users, most of those devices provide 3-4 USB plugs, and the USB-Cs provide Power delivery, which I love for live stream on my Fuji Camera :-)

@@Doman9191 I saw some testing showing (I think the 20W) charger charged faster than higher wattage power bricks. I can’t remember who did the test. If I find it I’ll reply with the video name or channel

Apple's possible strategy is once the charger port is eliminated, we're forced to use their wireless chargers, but also think about the cases(slim/rugged) that are only compatible with their charging station. Therefore we need better future cases that are wireless charger capable.

If Apple wasn’t going to include a charger because you probably already have one they could have at least included a cable compatible with your previous chargers.

Lmao I literally sent my old iPhone back to At&T inside of my 12pro max box the day I got it.... I do still have my iPad Pro and Apple Watch boxes tho😂😂😂

Stormtroopers ARE NOT clones! They are trained soldiers like normal Army troops. And FYI, unless you’re a true marksman, you’re going to miss... ALL THE TIME! It’s why machine guns were invented, shoot more bullets, less aiming necessary to kill people...

the rate of charging is limited by battery tech, not the charger tech. there's not really a problem to deliver 100+ watts of DC power at 95%+ efficiency. there's a problem to shove all that current into the battery without it dying after a couple of such charges. or without it exploding from all the heat.

Throwing away a box is just going to create other problems, like for example not being able to sell the phone again and warranty, plus making sure it is not fake. The box secures the phone so it does not get damaged.
