I heard it's white cheddar, on the crust, do not use cinnamon as an ingredient at all if you will use cheddar. Also, we call custard "pudding" here, yet we still have "custard" in supermarkets. Also, us Latinos call it "pudin" (pronounced poo-dean) instead of "bread pudding", the gringos don't have a word for it though.

I never really liked apple pie. I just don't like fruit pastries. I prefer eating the fruit as is as a dessert.

CreanJinSung I do like fruit pastries, but I never really got myself to like apple pie that much. Not enough cinnamon or spices in general in my opinion. Plus I don't know why, but I think I remember always getting the deepest part of the core in my pie (I call them the "gills" of the apple because they remind me of gills and are impossible to chew when baked). Actually, I prefer apple dumplings over apple pie, to be a hundred percent honest.
