Yay glad it was helpful! I’m not a pro by any means but love calligraphy and have taken some classes!

The new chip and thin design are amazing, but I really don't have any use case for the upgrade in processing power. Screen is a nice upgrade but I really only notice the difference when comparing the old vs new screen side by side, and I never had an issue with the older screen to begin with. The new pencil is really the star of the show here, imo. I tried out the pencil in the apple store and its crazy how well they implemented the squeeze feature with the vibration. And the popup tool selector is very well designed. I want the new iPad JUST for the pencil alone.

The Apple Pencil Pro really is a step forward and I love it! For the iPads, I also have been using the M1 iPad Pro and it’s perfectly fine tbh. I really need to wait to see what Apple releases at WWDC to really have a concrete opinion on M4 bc I think it will have a huge gain on AI related performance but we don’t know what that AI thing is at this moment.

I agree that for most people, the M2 or even the M1 is enough. It depends on what you do. procreate says that the M2 allows a larger canvas and more layers over the M1 and that the M4 allows more of each over the M2. If you want that, then the new model is good. If you don’t, then other for the new Pencil, which is amazing, you don’t need it. Apple is pretty smart. They know the new Pencil pro will sell M4 iPads and new iPad Airs.

Just got mine today so this video is a bit late for me, but I just wanted to say that this was the video I was looking for the entire time and couldn't find. Decided to get it anyway. The pen turned out to be great though! Really love it

This was AMAZING. Fantastic demo of the new pencil! Thanks for sharing! I'm madly waiting for mine to be delivered - I got on preorder but the delivery is between today and the 20th (I should have gone straight to an Apple Store lol).

Honestly love the 13”! More space the better for me, but the con is that it takes up more space on the desk and is heavier if you’re going to be on the go.
