    I don't understand why the "poor" woman who was raised by a single father, didn't want to marry her fiancée Xavier. He must have been a decent man or she wouldn't have wanted to be with him in the first place. And Xavier said that he was cutting his father out of his life anyways. If she'd been engaged to the father it would make sense to call it quits, but her decision to dump the man she claimed to love just because of his father, it's as nonsensical as Bob blaming her for having a dead mother. It's hypocritical af.

    Old adage. Meet the future in laws. Once everyone gets comfortable with one another, true colors come out. Children become like their parents. Nagging, plate throwing mom,and abusive father, that is what Children think is normal. And THAT is what you are marrying into.

    Agree. Sometimes the op sticks with marrying and sometimes they don’t. Since the man was cutting ties, I would see usually still marrying so that surprised me that she didn't. The only thing if this was real life, maybe she felt that even 🆎 ough the fiance said he was cutting ties with the father, maybe she worried that in the long run the in-law father would maybe worm his way back into their lives? Not sure. About to listen to the third story now 😊

  • @leannes1083

    @leannes1083

    8 күн бұрын

    @@user-ov2qf2nn9o There's also a chance that, if she went through with getting married, she might 1 day run into that abusive POS FIL at some in-law family function, be it a party/wedding/funeral. And who would want to see the man that assaulted you, and talked a LOT of trash about her AND her family? No one, that's who! Nope, aa sad as it may be to do, I think I'd call off the wedding too. I imagine it's about a bit of self-preservation too. Because who else is going to look out for you and your best interests like that? 24/7, 365. Besides, if what they say is true, about women turning into their mothers, then it only tracks that men will, potentially, turn into their fathers sometime in the future too, and who would want to risk marrying a man who may or may not turn into a potential abuser a few years down the line? Best to get out now, _BEFORE_ the wedding. In the long run it should work out cheaper and, theoretically, should cause less drama. And less heartache. But I guess that depends on the manor, and the timing, of the break up. 10 minutes before, 10 minutes into or 10 minutes _after_ the ceremony? All bag options. Heck, even _10 days_ before would be better than those 3 options!

    If it's a compound fracture there would have been full on surgery to bring all the bone ends back together. In some cases where there is the real threat of the circulation in the limb being cut off by the misaligned bones. So yes, it is possible for a week long hospital stay.

    Just an obvious statement. Many people assume things. The woman ended up being obnoxious and then slapping the op twice. My advice as a mom, people may think a slap is like a movie scene and no big deal but unless you’re defending yourself, don’t ever put your hands on another person. The woman simply didn't like the op and went to the extreme. (I like these stories since they are teaching people a learning lesson.) When most know right from wrong, you know if it is wrong then don’t be an idiot to hurt someone. A slap in the movies is fake. She didn't know if the op would have gotten hurt. What if the op had dental surgery or nose surgery etc and the woman damaged that post-surgery work? Not cool in real life to ever pull that. - Second story, even worse, the guy punches the op in the face?? What if he broke bones? I knew a guy once that slapped another guy a few times. The guy who was slapped surprisingly ended up with double black eyes. It was ‘just’ some slaps, so that shows how powerful a slap can even be. -- My ex turned out to be loony. I was lucky to get out of there. No matter the situation, do not ever hurt another person, when not defending yourself. It isn't worth it. Be safe everyone! Even if the op wasn't from a well off father, anyone can sue anyone regardless of financial background. Lol these stories are great and get me fired up 😂 Happy 4th!
