As a nurse it irritates me so much.... that people assume that it's the woman's fault if it's a boy or girl... The gender is determined by the father. That has been scientifically proven! 🤦‍♀️ The problem is it didn't matter certain cultures would not accept it when I would explain that. One man got so angry he went off on the doctor I was working with; as if it was the doctor's fault they had a girl. The doctor had the best come back though. They said, " sir 1. I was not there when your wife got pregnant and 2. I don't have the male anatomy to do so.". He didn't appreciate that 😂

These nurses should have a LOT more leeway in letting these kids go home with abusive fathers like this. CPS should be on speed dial. If you are mad at the gender it’s abusive - period.

I'm not even in the industry and I know that's not how it works. I think it's a hold-over from the days when he was okay to slap women on the ass and refer to married women as property, authority figures pretty much making excuses to be able to punish women. The attitude remains today. King Henry the 8th went through several wives, killing each of them when they had girls instead of boys.

As someone who unfortunately was in labor for 4 days to deliver a 9 pound 10 ounce baby I really don’t understand how any male has the nerve to make light of childbirth. My ex husband upset me so much when I was giving birth that I ended up punching him so hard I fractured 2 of his ribs. I think that was impressive considering he was 6 foot 290 pound body builder. Of course this event was only one of many reasons I divorced him.

I never married until I was 38, which was far from the norm for a woman of my era. Been married almost 29 years now. I don't want to procreate, and nobody can make me!"

Why are husbands almost always evil in these stories? 90 to 95% these men are the villains. As a male who grew up with an evil father, I met quite a few good men who were great dads and fathers. Life showed me that there many good men out there, one of whom raised my future wife.

I swear the meekness of these texts, see I get you can't tell tone in messages but these text messages for sure aren't implied they coming out the gate rude and I texting back the Same disrespectful energy the moment my brain register this person is being disrespectful and rude! Please creators quit creating these characters as meek and weak if you can make the antagonist be rude and big bad you can surely make the Protagonist stronger and clapping back hard! We are done with these weak willed characters!

The whole "which hurts more. Getting kicked in the balls or giving birth" thing needs to stop. Pain is on the individual. Second, both parties feel pain because of the amount of nerve receptors around our bits. The biggest difference I can see is 1) labor can last up to days (mind you testicular torsion can too) and 2) labor usually brings and even bigger pain into existence. I love kids and want to be a mom, but even I can see that I was a major shit as a baby. For all the guys saying "women choose and plan to have babies" just know that there are men that LOVE getting their balls stomped on.

Things that happen in a country full of guns would never happen in a country with very little guns. You get stabbed, poisoned, or just beat up to a pulp if you ever talk to anyone like that. Maybe the guns make it easier to treat people like shit.

When I was 25 years old I was told that I was old by a girl who was 16 years old. I married later than 30 years old. We didn't have children. All of the stereotypes in these stories are ridiculous. A true stay at home wife is worth 195,000 per year. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. LOL

BULLPOOP! The story about the girl married to a guy 12 years older and married 3 times prior.....that info is required on ALL marriage license applications. They always have a spot to list how many marriages and then you must put down where & when each divorce or death ended. That is the law.

😂How old is this story. How can the mother in law and her husband not know that the sex of a child is determined by the male. This should also be pretty evident based on the fact that all three of his ex wife's had girls. Also why didn't the doctor say the same thing
