A friend of mine does IT/data security for governmental agencies in an EU country, with PDF-software being his specialty. I literally got hit with this exact problem a few months ago when I tried to cancel my Adobe subscription due to financial hardship. A couple hundred dollar cancellation fee for a 30$ a month plan I had no idea I'd be locked into for a full year.

you can actually work around it by going to cancel, but accepting their offer to "switch" plans instead. and then cancel within 24hrs to get a refund for whatever you paid for the new plan, and no cancellation fee.

I’d really like to hear your perspective on the further development of Evs. Especially as now it seems that the depreciation of evs hitting the used car market is exorbitant, around 60-70% depreciation over 1 or 2 years. I don’t think this will have a positive effect on future Ev sales. And furthermore I always feel like people forget, that a car company is not only about producing and selling a car, but it’s also pretty important to have and be able to provide a infrastructure in form of Service, Replacement and Repair. And I’m not very optimistic that these companies will be able to develop and provide these services in the same time as the sales ramp up. Selling a car is just not the same as selling phones. Want to know what you guys think about that 🤝

I started investing in 4 ETFs in February (one being S&P 500) and after doing a little research I thought XLK looked intriguing and I invested in it. It is up 14.83% since I invested in it and I have been very happy with it so far.

Apple could weather the defaulting on BNPL, start tracking usage themselves (giving everyone an Apple Credit score) and eventually end up with a robust credit platform that they own end -to-end. I have to assume that they're out because having the Apple bailiffs come and repo your stuff is a bad look for the brand.

Nobody will disagree with you about hybrids being the majority for the next 5-15 years, but also no auto company other than Toyota would make the same bet for 15+ years from now. EU banned gas car sales by 2035 already, other countries are going to follow suit. Wouldn't be surprised to see China ban them in a similar timeframe.
