do these new iphones have the liquid water damage indicator??... since they dont have a sim tray anymore, I dropped mine in water, everything is fine but hopefully the warranty is not void because of this..just in case I need to use it in the future.

Is it still working? Long term test would be nice. Thank you.

I always do that with my old iphone 8 plus.. i can even take underwater shots in pools and lake. Everything is fine. Just don’t use it in salt water. I’m not sure with the new phones now. I haven’t tried that in my 13 🤭🤭

I can confirm that iPhone 15 Pro Max cannot withstand a dive in salt water at a depth of 103 feet and an average depth of 56 feet for 49 minutes.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are splash, water and dust resistant and were tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 6 metres up to 30 minutes). Splash, water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions. Resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Do not attempt to charge a wet iPhone; refer to the user guide for cleaning and drying instructions. Liquid damage not covered under warranty.

O tried by accident while canoeing. All you have to do after having in water is google remove water from speakers and play the sounds. No damage to the phone what so ever

Good to know I’m going hiking this weekend. It may be in the rain so I’m sure it will will stand sitting in my pocket in the rain or in a waist holster in the rain.

I believe that apple trully just made this phones anti-water for the sake of water accidents that lasts minutes or seconds, but hours or days just will kill off the phone, which I believe I will definitely appreciate onces I drop my 15 PM on any water.

Guys now I’ve got the iPhone 15 pro but when I was using the iPhone 12 I also used to swim with it but one day the camera got water inside because I forgot to remove all the water and the Face ID and the front camera stopped working. After some weeks I woke up and nothing was inside the camera and everything started working again.

Dropped my phone in the bathtub today and worried that it might start decaying since I notice nothing wrong immediately. Now I’m not so worried lol.

this video gave me severe anxiety, but I'm so very thankful for it. I just dropped my Iphone 15 pro in the toilet. Was only in there for under 10 seconds. Still freaking out.

The issue is, the top and bottom speakers that project audio are destroyed from this test. I’m certain this is the case. I could be wrong. However, in my opinion, it would’ve been great if you played some music or a video from that phone you were performing the test with.

Spilt milk on the floor where in 15 pro max was. Ya it got slightly wet but it was in a case and wouldn’t think it would hurt it AT ALL . But next day it is now semi unresponsive to typing or tapping. Opened the sim trap used flashlight and don’t see anything red at all , sending it in tmw n they freezing 1843.00 .. hoping they can’t notice anything

I accidentally got in the pool with my iPhone 15 pro and now it doesn’t charge good so hopefully it dries out and works properly tomorrow

Except they never break, had one ran over countless times in traffic for an hr and I still located it with finding app. It was destroyed in every way but still worked perfectly to download all my content before having it replaced, and that was an old aluminum one it was a 7 I believe. I’ve had several ran over and they all still work when I find them. Can’t kill the things, that’s why we get them they are great. Try that with android 🤣
