Hello I’m new to your channel. I totally agree with your point of view about Siri, i’ve been using HomePods mini for a couple of years and I have nothing to complain about the smart functionality. After watching your review I think I’ll buy two new HomePods and replace the two HomePods mini in my living room. In my opinion the HomePods mini are good enough to occasional listen to music or to listen to podcasts, but to listen to music in good quality and watching movie through Apple TV without buying a much more expensive home theatre, I think two of those new HomePods, for a Apple user like me, are the right choice. I bought two HomePod Minis about a month ago. They are setup as a stereo pair with my Apple TV. However, I just ordered two HomePod 2s today to compare to my minis. Is the movie and music experience worth the 3x cost in your opinion?

Yes it is better than the old one, I think most tech youtubers were downplaying it because…is it 5 years better? No, apple is known for its great innovation and after 5 years its not significantly better. Because for example Iphone 14 pro is 5 years better than the Iphone X

I’ve had my HomePod pair for about 3 months now, I absolutely love them. I had bought one of the 1st gen when they came out. I loved it too and regretted not getting a pair. So I was ecstatic when Apple announced the 2nd generation HomePod. So I totally agree with you, most of the reviews are wrong. The sound is amazing!!!! Great Review!!! I would love to see a 6 month or one year review from you as well!!

hmm interesting, people are comparing them to Sonos but from what I hear Sonos are in a different league, but way more expensive (era 300). Question is the vocals muddy when watching TV/films ? I hate it when you can't hear dialog

Homepod help

The sound is harsh and mids are non existent or at least hollow. I have 10 of them. There are two amazing setups I've found. Three (don't know why three sound better then 4, but it does)....Three....Two paired together sitting parallel to you on your right and left shoulder with one in the middle as a center channel. Adjust the volume so that the center channel has a slightly higher volume. It's amazing what those small speakers can do. Five speakers together is the other good set up. One center, two in the front sides, two pair for rear sound.....again, adjust the volume independently to get the best affect. Why apple didn't just make a program to sink them all into a 5.0 surround is beyond me. Lazy. How hard would that have been to? I know only a few people would have bought 5 to put in a room,....but maybe more would have if that programming existed. But you can put all 10 in a room paired in sets of 2 and play all 10 at once with or without apple tv. I'm waiting for a WiiM Pro so I can add a sub to see if that makes a difference. I have a Harman/Kardon onyx stuidio 1 and it sounds better then two homepods at 50 to 70%.....and that's a 9 year old speaker.
