Rip, the 4th generation was my childhood, even my first repair sorta, wasn’t a success but first time with the internals of a small device which means a lot as a certified tech for a few of the top brands.

I absolutely love my iPod 5th Gen classic. Still adding music to this day on it. Great for walks no distractions just me and my music. The iPod touch was great. I remember getting the iPod mini (blue) for my birthday one year. I used to use Limewire to get all my music!!!

I can't believe Apple discontinued the iPod touch It was actually one of the best Apple devices that was actually cheap on demand and you can still text and call on Wi-Fi if you don't want your son to have data yet until he's old enough

I found an iPod mini gathering dust on a shelf. Listening to podcasts from way back then is nice but it’s sad to know that I could never get another one

I haven’t seen anyone with a iPod in years, I honestly thought it was already discontinued.

@@thesilencereviews8633 KZreadrs aren't the only reason. The main reasons are the low amount of sells and music streaming. Everyone has Spotify, KZread Music etc. on their device. The iPod touch is just being a phone with worse specs these days.

To be quite honest, the iPod touch was the best device to have as a kid. Because it wasn’t a phone, but it was also small enough to keep in your pocket.

I still have an Ipod 6 I found in a school bus years ago when I was in HS, I tried desperatly to find the owner back but never found him / her, it didn't help to ask around who lost their $400 device, of course suddenly everyone lost theirs. It's Icloud locked so I can't do anything with it, I've always wanted to change the logic board on it to make it work again, at this point, I've lost hope of finding the owner back lmao

I had one 3-5th grade. (I stopped using it around then since it got slow and it’s a gen 5). Rip iPod touch, the “first phone” of most kids. You will be missed

I literally remember the “Videos” app from when I had an iPod Touch

It was a really weird coincidence. I run a website called the ipod haven and me and a friend started it together on the 10th of March 2021, and exactly a year later apple discontinued the iPod touch

I still have the 1st gen ipod,the earphone plug doesn't work properly and the screen has lost some pixels missing but it still works and I use it every day in my van

I didn't know those things existed until I saw this video. I never owned a stand alone mp3 player. Now that I'm retired can I enjoy my music at home, but I used to take a Walkman when I commuted to work on the BART train. I bought a Sony Walkman about a month after they came out in late 1979. I still remember thinking how cool they were. I'm basically walking around with a stereo in my pocket. That was a pretty radical notion in those days.
