Apple DESTROYED iMessage on Android
Now that Apple Vision Pro has made its mark, and the Nothing Phone 2a is set to release very soon, let's talk about Apple but this time on their iMessage services.
Wether you have used an iPhone 15 or a Pixel 8, you are fully aware about both iMessage and RCS and how both of these services do not communicate well with each other if not at all, in this video we will be talking about exactly that! Enjoy :)

@asbeuro Dude, Apple fans from America should stop whining about green bubbles & Apple fans don't have RCS in the iMessage app, which Google Messages does have RCS (lucky for us Android users, unlike crappy Apple fans from America).

RCS isn't created by Google btw. It was created by GSM Association (GSMA).

@@LifeOnee i surprised no made a android app that runs iOS inside it that has the legitimate iMessage there are hackintosh computers that have iMessages that works and apple doesn’t shut down them

@@NicVandEmZ hackintoshs with imessage uses a real mac's serial number, so apple's servers gets tricked, and a android app that runs ios would be EXTREMELY power consuming plus apple makes a lot of protections so ios VMs are easy to make if on a computer, but iMessage and some other apple stuff wont work without a apple serial number and apple id.

@@NicVandEmZfirst off, iOS or Macos emulation on a phone would be absolute hell, so it makes sense why no one's done it. Second off, the hardware on hackintosh's are old and super alike to usual Macs, enough to where the software can't detect it. I assume the hardware is too old to update it for newer verification, and it's better to just let them die with the coming of new Mac operating systems. (Also these days, hackintosh's are so hard to make it's not making any problems)
I just don't like the restrictive nature of iOS and iPadOS. I like to have the freedom to download any application I want and the freedom to customize my OS to my liking. Therefor, I prefer android.

Just the fact you cant mess with any of the coloring an imsg is pathetic.. best move i ever made was going to android after 15+ years with apple.
I'm more annoyed with Beeper for poking the bear so much and being cocky... Beeper mini was it's downfall...

the only thing that apple does better than android is their tablets. yeah, i know, android tablets are still good, but ipads have more accesories support

BTW the local method still works. I have a spare PC running Mac OS in a virtual machine running Blue Bubbles (the server app). It's safe because everything is done on my hardware and not by a third party

There is a way to make your imessages green using an iPhone! I can't remember exactly how it happened, but there's some setting that made my iPhone messages green!
Randomly stumbled upon you but the whole video was entertaining. I already knew the story but your humor is fun. I'm one of those living in that nerdy world but you explained everything very well. One-off collab? My empirium of 71 subscribers would instantly put your channel above Pewdiepie, or at least one of the fake accounts.

Talking TODAY!, Sunday 30th June 2024, iOS 18 beta 2 has a buggy but working RCS, now all of iMessage's features will work with iOS APART from the green bubbles (side note absolutely no one gives two "annoyances" about receiving a green text bubble to your dirty laundry pics in Europe (apart from maybe the UK or smth))
Because SMS cost money more money. RCS is not made by google, it already existed (as a joint venture by carriers) but they popularised it by making their own service to serve RCS to phones.
On android, you could create an email account on icloud and then use that data in delta chat. That'd allow you to have end to end encryption when chatting with iphone users on delta chat. The other users wouldn't need to install delta chat either.
I have a friend who has an iphone 13 but still texts me with green bubbles on my '16 SE. She doesn't have a mobile data plan. Every time i text her i also have to long press the message to click send as text message. Also everytime i recieve a text from her, i recieve two notifications: one from messages, second for iMessage after she connects to wifi. Couple that with the default setting that sends a reminder notification after two minutes of not opening your phone - that's 4 notifications, beeps, vibrations for 1 message. Whenever she texted me maybe three messages and my phone beeped 12 times i was close to throwing my phone to the wall.
Some just don’t even text people who have androids lmao

its not the blue & green for me, it's the inability to text each other over wifi. Android can only text android over wifi and so it goes with iPhone. IT'S 2024!!!! I just want to be able to send friggin messages!!!!
