We have to make extra assumptions to think he was ‘just doing something stupid’ before he made this (clearly staged) mistake. So if we utilize Ockham’s Razor, making extra assumptions is the lesser likely scenario here.

@Gorillala 78 I can’t imagine that happening when in use. Most people also wouldn’t leave their laptop out in the sun, where if the laptop were closed in the sun, has a higher chance of absorbing the sunlight, compared to open, where the logo would be pointing down.

Not really 2015 MacBook Pros where pretty robust, if the SSD died you could actually swap it out and reinstall the OS (it has a white apple logo so its probably one of the Retinas or Unibody pros) All macs post 2017 have soldered SSDs that when fail, ACTUALLY brick the laptop

At first I was like, “oh nooo he’s probably in trouble now” but then I remembered it’s an Apple device that was built to last for ages and sighed in relief~
