@SOVIET-ball ★ USSR attacked Poland when all hopes of striking an alliance with France and UK was lost. These two deliberately refused to ally with Soviet Union so that Germany invaded Russia next. After this betrayal, USSR could only ally with Germany because doing otherwise would be plain suicide. My point - the Soviets bear no responsibility for this invasion.
