It looks good but I wouldn't use. Brown surger I don't \st sugar in any of my food I just don't like sugar in my savory food. But a lot of people do an that's fine. But I've never had anyone turn away from what I cook

I use to buy the most expensive spaghetti sauce in a jar, but after watching this video I bought Store Brand and made it taste so much better with all the spices and mushrooms in it. OMG it was unreal. It taste DELICIOUS. You sure know what your doing in the kitchen. Love you Brenda and as Sadie would say, Cameraman. Hurry Back, I miss you 2 so much, and after reading most of your Comments in other videos so don't most of the world miss you too. 💛💗💖💙🧡💚💜♥️💝🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 This is for you David 🥪🥞🍕🌮🌭🍔

David will go and but the high sauce in a jar. I buy the cheapest in a can. any flavor but cheese. then I can make the extra tasty. I told him David I but the cheap stuff. The only difference is the name on the jar as far as the price goes. Peggy I am so glad that you went and saved yourself somewhere from .40 to 1.00 and maybe even more on those jars of sauce. You can make them good and fancy yours self.

It is hard, because it is very small and there is not place to store things.my dishes are everywhere. I want to move my seasonings somewhere else, because they get hard from the heat of the stove. I have to rewash everything that I use, because there could be something on it. There is no Cabinet doors, and hardly not cabinets at all. That is why there is to others in the Kitchen. The living room is big, but we heat with wood, and this stove takes up a lot of space. Enough space that I could use for a dining area. It does make it hard. I like clean living and uncluttered. It is cluttered and it drives me crazy, it is hard to put things away. David grew up in this house. He had been a single man until we got married, and he didn't care so much on how it was. He cleaned and it looked as good as it could. Right now it has been even harder, because he lost his mom in 2014,and he is the one out of all of them that wants to keep everything that belonged to his mom. He will not turn loose. I hate it There"s things everywhere. And I cannot put our things away now. And of course I need to get rid of my things because I have to many. I am going to be cleaning that Kitchen as much as possible, and getting rid of wine glasses and think that you can see in the back ground. I don't drink, so I don't need them. I hope that he does not read this comment. lol

Im not worried about them anymore. i had one tonight, and I just throwed her remarks in the trash where they belong. they are proberly one of those that go in public restraunts and use the potty and leave without washing. and will talk about someone else. they have skeletons in their closet. but I have nothing to hide. I do use my hands. if I get cut and I have a sore, I wear gloves that I have to use, expecially if I am going to be using my hands. thak you so much for the very nice remarks. it makes me feel so good

, Chicken Parmesan. ......mix dry breadcrumbs. With Parmesan cheese. Take chicken and dip in flour, then egg then breadcrumbs Bake in a 350 oven on parchment paper lined baking tray ! It helps to cut chicken in equal size Can cook pork chops this way too! That’s the Italian way I found years ago and a favourite at our house .......Serve with spaghetti and bottled sauce you can get mushroom flavored !! I use 4 cheese !!

Everyone complaining ab the cross contamination of chicken. Miss Brenda is a meticulous cook. Always aware of germs. The chicken had been cleaned very well beforehand so possibly she didn’t think it could still have germs. All I know is what a delight to watch and learn from this happy, sweet lady and what I wouldn’t give for a set of her pots and pans. Grew up with these pots and they last forever with only replacing a handle maybe.❤️

Sandyat Thebeach, Everyone should learn food safety. Chicken should not be washed. It only contaminates all around with droplets that land on the sink, cabinets backsplash It even lands on clothes. Cooking chicken to 165 degrees kills bacteria. I know she probably has been taught this way of cooking but progress teaches new safer ways to handle chicken. In another video she carried raw steak to an out side grill in a pan where you could see the blood from the steak. After she grilled the steak she put it back in the bloody pan. She is an innocent sweet person, but she needs to learn about food safety before she is allowed to continue to teach cooking. Young cooks will be at risk if they emulate her.

When you're in the grocery store with the wedges with cheese if you spot any Jarlsberg grab a small piece because it is one of the world's best Swiss cheeses! I used to get it as one of my gifts for Christmas. I can't even seal up a zipper bag anymore like a ziplock. I can't do it. I thought I missed you putting the sauce on and then I looked on the stove and I thought why is there so much sauce left? None of us is mistake-proof! This looks beautiful! Thank you for sharing. :-)

So enjoy your show, Brenda. I learned from a chef many years ago that we don't need to add oil to our pasta... it's just a waste of oil, he said. I don't add it to my macaroni or spaghetti anymore and he's right... it doesn't matter one bit. That chicken dish looks delicious... gonna make that one, for sure.

Hey Brenda, I like a little sweet in my tomatoe sauce recipes too. Sometimes I use ketchup cause it adds sweetness and also some spices that I also enjoy. Never tried just using sugar but maybe I'll give it a try. I use molasses in my baked beans for sweetness and it's awesome. Thanks for your recipes and hope you are feeling well

I told him not to eat it that I would fix something else. He had 2 bowls of it tht night and the next night for dinner. I said David you dont have to eat that. I am going to fix something else. you are so lucky.one thing that I will always remember about my great grandmother, and that is that she has the biggest and best orchard around when I was a little girl. I love it so much, all of the different fruit. she has in there any kind of apple or plum peaches pears, different ones too. it was great. we have the land for it, there is a ot of old trees here, they are no good, they still produce but they get about the size of a crab apple. I wish that I was able to have that orchard, It is a wonderful childhood memory of mine. I tild my mom that one day, and of course she teared up for the good, she didn't think that any of us kids would ever remember anything like that. i said oh mommy I sure do and I just wish that I could have it here. the dear get these here. they ar no good anyway. we do have a new tree going and it is full of apples, and I cannot wait to see how they turn out. David purchased an apple at sheets store and he planted the seeds from it and it growed and this year it is so full of apples. I am praying for apple sauce. I love apple sauce with biscutes and gravy.my favorite breakfast. I have never done it in a croc pot. it sounds real easy to do it that away.

Hello Brenda How are you today? I hope you are feeling much better because i know in some of your videos you are having a lot of pain with your RA and im so sorry about that. I recently had your videos pop up on you tube and i just love them. All your meals look so good and economical and i love how you explain everything you do. Its nice hearing you tell stories of your childhood how your mother took simple things and made a good meal for the whole family and everyone got full and was glad they had what they had too. My grandmother cooked a lot of things from scratch, pies and cakes and biscuits but she used simple techniques too but she always made delicious home cooked meals even if it was just fried ground hamburger patties and put on a slice of white bread and she would pour cream gravy on top of it and we would have tomato and onion slices with pickles and it was good. She could make the best fried chicken and pot roast with carrots and potatoes and we ate a lot of red pinto beans with ham hocks. Your recipes look so good and i love watching you cook and look forward to more of your videos and i wish you good health and i hope your pain is not as bad. Take care.

thank you so much for watching. my mom just had to do what she could with what she had. it wasn't easy for her. my dad was a weekend drunk and he was mean to mom and us kids. I do have both parents and things are completely different. I took the last punch for my mother, and it completely changed now. I love my parents and I am so blessed to have them. my moms health is so bad. now my dad does most of the cooking. if you watch the cornbread video, you will see both parents doing something to the cornbread. my dad and my brother that they adopted and raised can make it to. we hav a real good family. dad dont drink anymore. praise the lord. he has always worked good tho, but you know back in those days the law didnt interfer very much with a man and his wife and the kids. I stood up to daddy and I guess that he woke up. anyway I have super good parents. my mom still make the same kind of food but she has a better rang of ingredients to work with. she tries to make the gravy and anything that she can do sitting at the table. and daddy watches the food while cooking until done. my brother is 19 now and he cooks to. so it is a family afair. when we visit then we cook. and I have lots of sisters, my family is big and we share a lot of love. thanks so much for watching. I just thought that I would share a little bit of my life as a kid to you, and I want to thank you for watching. if you ring the bell then you will know when we post which will be tomorrow. please subscribe if you havent.
