Just like any other new detector, give it a little time to learn because it is an awesome machine. But it does help coming from the Deus I because the learning curve is not as great.

Hello there Alexander. I share your frustration with the Deus II. I bought my 'Master' set up this year and am still running it through its paces. Highly recommend watching Gary Blackwell KZread tutorials on the Deus II. You may not want to go there but notching down the sensitivity and raising the reactivity doesn't interfere with depth much; it just stabilises the machine. Hope that helps👍

It obviously a good machine if you’re getting a lotta nice stuff for us every time

The Deus 2 can be a bit of a learning curve Alex and yes i have been there, i almost wrapped it around a tree, but now I really love it, just took a lot of practice and experimenting. Can't wait for your next video always gives me new hope to find something special one day

Hi Alexander, I use prog 1 basic in two tones , but lift the second tone to 881, i think its called the nero prog, in my opinion it settles the machine down and makes signals sound much better. It might pay you to invest in the remote, I find the numbers game spot on , I used to have the xp gmp but found the screen brilliant ond the first deus, now the deus 2 is even better. 7.1 version in my opinion is the best, great videos once again , 👍👍👍

Try relic mode on pasture, it’s a great setting. Plenty of tutorials on KZread 👍

Looking forward to seeing you lose your rag! 🤣 When you've used the D1 for as long as you have (and I, come to that) getting used to something new is always going to take a bit of time and frustration levels will be tested. I'm sure Doris will eventually prove an invaluable companion and this spat will be lost in time as a mere lovers' tiff!

Hi Alexander. Three nice little sliver finds. You are the only person I have ever come across that has apologised to technology. We usually, as you said you had done the day before, curse it when it doesn't do what it is supposed to do and take it for granted when it does function properly. Don't do it again though, as the Deus might start to expect too much from you, like having its own cushion to rest on when not being used.

Yeah, it's a tough one with the D2 hey Alex?, but I reckon the main 'comfort' to take, is that all 3 of the most favoured programmes, (ie. Sensi FT, Relic and Deep HC), seem on a par with each other, (and all very high performance!) I often listen to all 3 before digging -and seems a safer way to avoid grim stuff... 😨 I'm sure you're nearly there by now anyway matey... 🤞 🙏 Take care then, Bobby 🐭
