    This is one of my biggest pet peeves with Christians in general. Want to question their claims?.......you have to have all sorts of specifics, data, etc. Meemaw "felt" Jesus presence or claims Jesus found her keys. Nothing further needed..... definitely happened.

    Atheism is the biggest impasse in the world. The person who denies is depressed. He cannot solve many spiritual problems. People cannot understand the problems they face in the world. What people can solve is limited. Human beings want to believe because of their existence. Most of the people believe. They pray and worship. The one who answers their The denial of the person Allah. He is one. He is the one who makes it rain from the sky and provides sustenance. The sun and the moon always move in an orderly manner. But when people really start using the crap this guy and others like him say, I just can’t hold my tongue. I had a born again coworker years ago who was insistent the Bible has never changed, I stayed after shift with her going through different versions of the Bible from different times pointing out changes, talked about how the denomination she follows at one point changed doctrine in order to exist in the first place. Ended up wasting about an hour and a half of my life that night.

  • @DodgaOfficial

    @DodgaOfficial

    @@cobrajr188 unfortunately, those that believe are not doing so because they were convinced by facts and logic. They were pulled in during a weak point in their life where they were looking for purpose and meaning and the church exploits that, they are also terrified of going to hell, and have been shown many examples of people who "backslid" and their lives fell apart supposedly. So it's fear keeping them from leaving, not love as they say. They say they love God because they have to say that, that's what a good Christian is supposed to say. So unfortunately, no matter what you say, it is filtered by a huge amount of fear, and even if you have the best arguments in the world, that fear is something they will have to overcome before they can leave. You never know, you might not have gotten her to change that night, but it's very possible that you planted the seeds of doubt that will slowly cause her to wake up. It takes alot of time, because her whole life is wrapped up in it, and she's been convinced her eternal soul is on the line and that anyone who tries to get her to doubt is an agent of satan. It's crazy how genius the whole thing is, it's diabolical.

    Concerning the analogy in the end; It's more like Ray telling me to put the parachute on and there's not even a single detectable parachute anywhere on the plane, but he just keeps telling me to put one on. There aren't any parachutes, Ray. We're all gonna die anyway, so let's make the most of the ride.

    I am a molecular biologist studying microbiology and genetics for... 8 years? Evolution is such a simple concept once you know how DNA works. Theists look at DNA and think: "WOW this is so difficult, this can only be done by god!" Meanwhile me, studying it for so long, have seen so many methods for creatures to just die short in life due to genetic failures. Those mutations will not be passed on. For the extra evidence: I have had to do protein research where I need to find the same proteins in many different creatures. Many creatures have the same type of proteins as some are really important for the function of the eukaryotic cell. Even fruitflies, that are soooo far away from us in the evolutionary trees, have important proteins that have their most important aminoacids for folding and functions still in the same spots. Yet proteins that are less important for survivability are changed to the point of not being able to recognizing them when comparing. Since I have done these experiments myself, that would mean I do not take it on faith. But Ray comfort is the ultimate grifter out there, together with Kent hovind, and Ken Ham. I am surprised I was able to endure until 35 min, but I can't take more of this actively lying street preacher. Lying for jesus, maybe that'll work. If jesus was alive today and accurate to the stories, he'd chase Ray with a whip.

Dogs even used to come and lick his sores. 22 When the poor man died, he was carried away by angels to the bosom of Abraham. Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering torment in these flames.' 25 Abraham replied, 'My child, remember that you received what was good during your lifetime while Lazarus likewise received what was bad; but now he is comforted here, whereas you are tormented. 26 Moreover, between us and you a great chasm is established to prevent anyone from crossing who might wish to go from our side to yours or from your side to ours.' 27 He said, 'Then I beg you, father, send him to my father's house, 28 for I have five brothers, so that he may warn them, lest they too come to this place of torment.' 29 But Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them.' 30 He said, 'Oh no, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.' 31 Then Abraham said, 'If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone should rise from the dead.'"

    "Comfort"- what a perfect name for a fundamentlalist Christian. Because ocmfort is what religion is all about. The thought od a n afterlife is comforting, and that's why mankind invented human-like Gods and a rosy-posey afterlife.
