The psychology in there, he and Athena seem to be two sides of the same coin: Athena had been hiding her memories out of fear of reliving her trauma and feeling guilty, while Phantom had been hiding his own identity out of fear of being hunted and killed

The last one is sad too, since Nickols blame Sorin for something he didn't do and he was between the sword and the stone to grant Selena's wish to save her brother (and by extension Nickol's BIL), Sorin or to save his wife, Selena and risk Sorin to die too. Is even worse when you see at what time Nickols poketwatch stop. At the same moment of Selena's death. Of course the other party who help him was of a blame too, but for Nickols he was just a pawn to get back at Sorin's family.s
