This song is amazing and describes so well where I am right now. When you discover a love in someone unlike any you’ve ever experienced before you don’t know how to let go of it. There’s such a pull to be close to him but you know you have to let go!

I can completely see why so many people call this a toxic relationship song (and I believe it is from the lyrics), but when I was younger I believed this song was more about addiction. I believed that because my grandma actually listed to this song a lot when trying to get over her smoking addiction.

@Pissant you're absolutely right. I forgot this comment even existed. I am with a different girl now. Can't even imagine speaking these words about that past girl. Hard to figure out what I even loved about her. The girl I'm with now I've been with for almost 13 months now and by far has been my best experience with anyone and I hope it stays that way.

@@Valoelify I can understand where you're coming from. Ultimately, when you decide to try to live without him is totally dependent on you and when you are ready. But I have to be real with you, this is not going to come without pain, even pain that seems to last forever. I think you just need to take some time to work on self-improvement. Ask yourself some questions. Why am I so dependent on him? What am I dependent on him for? What do I feel is missing when he is gone? But most importantly, how does he make me feel and do I deserve this. It is important to think about why it is you're dependent on him and learn to love yourself. If you learn to love yourself, you may find you don't need him anymore. There is no law against taking as much time for yourself as you need. If you ever need someone to reach out to, come back and let me know and I can give you whatever information you want to contact me by. Please do not commit suicide. I will give you whatever time you may need to convince you not to do that. There is always another way, I promise you.

I listen to this cause someone special sent it to me and we can't talk anymore or see him anymore i loved him so much but he's put me through so much pain i wish we could restart when listen to this i cry cause of what this love did to me i wanna see him again😪😭😭😭😭😭😭
