Apocalyptic Horror Story: "The Day The Moon Disappeared" | Sci-Fi Horror Story 2023
Ойын-сауық
Artemis 3 landed on the Moon in the first manned mission since the 1970s. However, what they found was unlike anything ever before seen on Earth's satellite or even expected to be found there. Awakening an entity that had laid dormant for eons, Artemis 3 had started a devastating chain of events that would define the future of all life on Earth. The entity did not take kindly to being raised from its peaceful slumber.

I like this one. It reminds me of Mr Starman & Advice from the End of Eternity. A momentary lapse of judgment, a loss of control, lead to far reaching and long lasting consequences that even a godlike being couldn't undo. A eternity of regret.

Awesome story! Beautiful yet horrifying at the same time😁 this is a great example of why sci fi / cosmic horror is the best horror🖤💜🖤💜🖤
I don't know why KZread originally recommended this channel for me, but I'm glad it did. I've listened to a couple of stories and I enjoyed this one very much. Even though it's totally different, the story reminded me of one of my favorite books, Childhood's End. I've always liked the approach of a story spanning very long time periods, being more about the civilization than the individuals.

Brilliant story and narration . My only confusion was over the journey in the “Rover” , seeing as they were moving forwards they would’ve been passing any dust that was kicked up before it could effect the windshield and forward facing camera - both should’ve been clear whilst the ‘Rover’ stayed in motion , no matter how much dust was kicked up .😂😂😂
Thanks! Awesome! And that shadow on the Moon animation is very... odd.

Well I'll give you this - you caused me to look up Black Prophecy. At least it got released for a year... unlike... you know. Also - as the person who voiced and put together all the audio for this story? I can swear on a stack of Bhagavad Gitas that the music is from independant creative sources, despite any coincidental resemblance that game that was out between 2011 and 2012. Did you play it? Was it like? Yours truly, Thomas B - host of 'Bominable 'Bominations

@@bominablebominations the song in this video at about 23:40 is SEARED into my mind!! its one of the "epic battle" themes from black prophecy, epic battle 2 to be exact kzread.info/dash/bejne/aWVnmKSzdZrJkZc.html oh i even found it on youtube!! thats confirmed, you can hear for yourself!! its a BEAUTIFUL soundtrack, and the give away is that the main black prophecy theme motif is used throughout the song too, all the songs have the reoccurring motif from the main theme in them, which is AMAZING!! the opening cutscene has always stuck with me.. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6CnkqSxl6ieeLQ.html here is the opening cinematic!! you can get a feel for the world from this, it also includes the theme song which is such an earworm, once you hear it, you can't help but notice it in all the other songs as for the game itself, it was fantastic !!! it was a space shooter in the vein of freelancer, but it was actually designed to work with flightsticks (unlike most modern space games which are mouse and keyboard first, stick second) the game was super open and just let you do what you wanted. everything from ship customization to character customization was crazy in depth. and there was so much fun just going from system to system and manually landing on each station, and leaving your ship and walking around inside was just... so ahead of its time. its still such a shame that games like this are just... gone forever now. its the first game in my memory that shut down, where most of the in game data was server side. so fans couldn't re-create private servers.... it seems like more and more online games are just becoming lost media, and it KILLS me. especially for something like black prophecy which just OOOOOZZED atmosphere and had such deep lore and such an incredible and well realized universe... i could go on and on about it, about the transhumanism, the weird lovecraftian cult that rules humanity (oh you should look up the cathedral theme from the game its played on a real organ and its beautiful) and the... maybe?? aliens??? or maybe false flag aliens that just exist to start a new war?? oh man, the story had so many layers... ANYWAYS LOL yeah, beautiful game. thanks for your story though

It's hard to hear God's voice his voice is so much quiter than the narrative. Love story but voices need to be more even
In 1969, the movie, "2001 Space Oddity" Was the set for the moon landing. Sorry....
The voices of ( mission control) and the ( moon beings) is almost unintelligible! Very poor ! Ruined the programme for me, so for that reason I'm afraid its a 👎 from me .

The distortion you use for some of your voices is often too distorted for me to discern what is being said, if you could pull back on that - that would be great! Other than that your selection and narration of stories is smegging awesome!!! Love your productions! Cheers mate!
