APM + Bixler Auto Takeoff, Waypoint Mission, Auto Landing at Mcmillian Park in Huntsville Stabilized

Ғылым және технология

Fully autonomous flight test using the Ardupilot (APM) and the Bixler airframe. Check out the videos from under the wing watching the servos as they are controlled by the APM software! Special thanks to Andrew Lecher, Jonathan Griffis, and Jonathan Sewell for the video footage. Thumbs up for the landing!

Do you have a brushless gimball on it or did you use an excellent stabilizer?

I did not use a brushless gimbal for this video. The post stabilization was done with Sony Vegas Movie Studio

Would love a link with your APM settings, I have a Bixler and I will receive an APM 2.5 next week. Thank you.

Great flight! I'm having issues with my APM allowing my plane to descend over time until I have to manually take back control. I have the height set at well above ground level g150') but it still slowly loses altitude. Any ideas? Thanks!
