i mean it makes sense it's really hard to win with them so really the only incentive to play them is if you really resonate with them and have more fun playing them than anyone else which isn't gonna be the case for most people and even for people who love playing a certain low tier they might choose to pick up a better character anyways because they want to win more

Love to see Kirby again

I’m a firm believer if Sakurai gave Kirby more air and ground mobility/speed, he could rise above in the tier list. As he could punish more effectively and edge guard better.

I agree, but it was done that way intentionally. Slower running and slower air speed makes playing Kirby in smash feel like playing Kirby in a Kirby game. A better way to buff Kirby would be to give him more disjointed attacks and better specials. Kirby would easily be a better character if he used abilities based on weapon copy abilities (sword, hammer, staff, whip, parasol, etc) for his smashes, aerials, tilts, and if his side b was his wheel ability, similar to Yoshi, sonic, Bowser jr.

I swear what goes through Sakurai's head when designing some of these characters from ultimate. Kirby sucks. Somic sucks. He pits all this effort into DLC and yet he doesn't even try with w character thay has been in the game since the beginning.

Character design is subjective too. You'd think that by context clues someone could figure that out. Your reply proved my comment even more. Mythra match-up is ok but Pyra is litterally unplayable

Kirby's my secondary. Mythra being significantly faster, and having a better recovery is harder to deal with.
