apink to me has one of the best progression in sound in my opinion because as years went by their sound still had that elegant & bit soft vibe but in a more mature way also yay for more apink& thanks for the reaction

If you pay attention to the MV, they're literally burning props from earlier MVs, marking a break from their past.

I can say one thing, if I had gotten into Kpop during Apink's early eras, they would have definitely been my ULT group, they have everything I want in a group, they are still one of my top 5 groups though. Also, Hayoung has my favorite voice in the group, you should check out her Solo album some time.

I would definitely say that you've got a pretty clear picture of the group's trajectory so far, but I'll add a few more details! The first song was their debut and the orchestral elements you heard were kind of the focal point of the whole EP but some people (at least, other kpop fans I knew at the time) didn't find it catchy enough and too far removed from the typical sound at the time. Then they released My My which was successful, and in 2012 changed their sound again for their first full album which had a lot of dance tracks and some members even had rap parts, but this time I think people found it TOO generic. They went back to the direction of My My after that with NoNoNo and Mr. Chu and both of those were huge hits and obviously that sound stuck for a while. "I'm So Sick" was definitely when the departure happened and I'm sure it largely had to do with the fact that Hayoung was 21 in Korean age that year.

I really loved Apink's Killing Voice! They were always a group I only knew a select few songs from, but I've been diving more into their discography as of late. Another Killing Voice I would recommend is the one released for Kara. They're recent release, When I Move, has been one of my most played songs as of late. :)

Fantastic, love hearing your take on any Killing Voice! Along with the transitional songs you identified here, I'm really surprised they didn't do "%%" aka Eung Eung which is a BEP production alongside Only One, Dumduhrum and Dilemma. Worth a look sometime!

The Most of any Girls Group in K-POP History. Girlfriend's " Rough" came Close with 15 Musical Awards I think. Girls Generation " Gee" I think had 14 i think. Have a good one , 🕊️ Out. Oh yeah their title track shift definitely started from I'm so sick. I believe its also their comeback after awhile. When I first listened to it I'm like damn this is so f*in good. Btw, April 19 and The Wave are fan songs, which lyrics are written by their leader, Chorong. U You is a fan song, too. It sounds familiar because it became viral recently as a favorite song to perform in Korean weddings due to its sweet message. It also had a trending challenge on tiktok, often requested to be done by other kpop idols during video call fansigns. Namjoo is going to have a comeback soon on the 18th.
