    Just searched for a full KF build and was not disappointed! Binge watched the whole series and held comments until now. Now I’ll go to newest stuff. Excellent job on the machine, the build and the documentation.

    Great to see the new plane out performing and doing what you built it for. I really like the apex power unit for the Kitfox, it seems to be a good fit. Nobody has ever complained about too much power.

    I had a good friend who use to fly second seat in private jets, she use to fly into Redding occasionally and invite me out for tours of the jets. She since passed away from cancer but many years ago she tried to encourage me to get my license knowing my love for flying and so she arranged for us to go up with two of her friends that owned Kitfox's in Grant Pass Oregon, we flew all over that area and the Rogue river, the funnest time of my life in an airplane. Love the video thank you

    @@BowenAero It has been so many years now and I only met these guys the one time, but I think it was those guys, the guy I road with had a yellow one and was a tall guy. If you know them and see them again you can ask if they remember Monette she had a Socata TB-21 back then.

    Bryan, great to see that great looking bird in it's natural environment. Performance is impressive but it would be interesting to see the difference between the three configurations, third being the turbo. Really enjoyed the video coming from a flat lander (Florida)!

    i live in idaho and i diddent know there were places like that for them little plans and i couldn't beleve how many planes were at that last stop that's Pertty neat and hay if you want a little more power just put a R2800 in it iam sure that will fix any power problem.

    Great video. I don't know how you can do it but I would like to see airspeed, ground speed, engine info high lighted on the screen as some people do. Just an idea. Also having an Lycoming in the past, is there an way to boost performance in the 0-290 and IO- 233 Lycoming 115 HP I have . Thanks

    They both have the Super sport wing, I have yet to flight test the big prototype wing we designed, but I am in the process of putting it on for testing.

    Whats your average fuel consumption and cruise RPM? Sounds like it's spun up the line a bit. And what's general maintenance cost look like?

    I average between 5 and 5.5 gph and cruise at about 104-106 mph with the current big wing set up with the Shock Monster landing gear.

    Brian, do you know the weight diff between a Rotax 912is vs your Apex - all in with headers, after cooler etc etc a guess would be fine. Thanks

    The other Kitfox I was flying with had the Rotax 914 turbo with an Airmaster prop. It did really well. Cruises fast, and climbs great.

    @@BowenAero not a dude, just an experienced mountain pilot . mountain waves caused by 60 knot winds are inherently dangerous , unless i miss understood your commentary, even the book recomends no fly above 45 knots, been there done that, not for me .
