For those who don’t know, time slows down slightly next to objects of unbelievable mass, and a black hole is the object with the most mass in the known universe, so time is reduced heavily near it. So she was stuck near the black hole for only a little bit, but on earth the time passed normally and it was 87 years, or a few hours for her, before she found a way back.

When I first saw the horizon teaser, I instantly fell in love with this character, and I was literally praying that she would make it into the game. Because after forge, I thought that all hope was lost when she was abandoned in space. I cried for this character when she lost her son, and the in game dialog on olympus really made me feel worse. Which is why I love this game, all of the stories and the attention to the lore is perfect, keep it up respawn!

So she isn't from pre-space colonial time, and she isn't from Revenants time, but she is definitely not from "current" time. Apex team is now messing with our sense of time in a good way! Also would be crazy if her hometown was the place where we kept jumping through time in Titanfall 2 because scientists were experimenting there :O

apex legends is a hybrid of hero shooter and battle royale genres

"Don't worry my boy, I'll keep that promise yet. It's just a matter of time" I love this characters optimism and her will to do whatever she can to see her son again. The quote seems to be alluding to time travel which would make sense so I really hope she gets reunited. PS: I feel like Horizon will get along great with Wattson
