Will Cavalvanti but is it though? I mean he did a hell of an impression if people can only see him as Peeta. His acting in the Hunger Games (especially as hijacked) was stunning. Yes, of course he is an amazing actor but to some people (me included) he will always be Peeta. He's more than just an actor too. He was my first celebrity crush. He was in my all time favorite movie. And that's the reason why he will always be Peeta.

From the time he was a so sad, crying little boy in Miracle Dogs to this vivid piece - I have been consistently impressed by his talent. And the small but significant details in his performances. Ex: the furtive glances and dark circles under his eyes here, the slight but incredulous look he gives the girl when she says she's long wanted to be his friend...His subtle gestures are a real strength. This goes for his talents as a director also. He's truly one of the best of his generation.

I'm at a loss of words from how incredible this was... Dealing with mental illnesses and chemical imbalances myself this really hit home. I'm recovering from a stage of experimenting and doing drugs that only made my actions and thoughts worse... On top of prescribed medication. I love how you can perceive this is multiple ways, and I know that was a goal of Josh's. Anyone who knows me will you tell how I was convinced I was in love with the man, haha. I'm super proud of him, finally seeing him direct more.

If that white powder is cocaine, he may have even been an addict from the start. It may be that hallucinations are derived from the cocaine. Thus his addiction adds to his torment. The red dressed girl is formed from the power of his subconscious. That she is constantly tormenting him is the inner guilt he can't deal with from the childhood drama. In any case it brings us face to face with the inner hell that some people experience with sever forms of mental illness. Applaud you for doing this film.

Very well-acted. Definitely shows the tragic life that most people with mental illness go through family ignorance the cocooning the isolation the coldness of the world and when they do try to get close to someone sometimes just the pressure of trying to have a relationship with someone can cause more problems and it is worse for them.

This was one of the best short films I have seen so far. I am thinking there are 3 possibilities. The first is that he may be schizophrenic and the blond girl is a voice in his head. Or the second possibility is that he could have developed a split or multiple personality disorder and the blond girl is another personality which would explain why he can see her and she is real to him and she is not just a voice he hears in his head like he would if it were just schizophrenia. She could be a personality that developed during whatever it was that had happened to him in the past - which they never really did explain - but it must have been some type of tragedy or traumatic event that could have made him develop another personality to help his mind cope with whatever it was that had happened to him. She could be a really strong personality and that is why she started showing up more and more, trying to dominate him and run his life and he seemed to be looking for a way to get rid of her. She also seemed to appear more after he took his medication though. But after snorting the cocaine in the bathroom he became paranoid, aggressive and psychotic and the blond taunted him relentlessly to kill her and then the other girl. He must have felt that he could get rid of her for good and it would also shut her the Hell up once and for all, so he took her up on her offer by knocking her upside the head and whacking her with the golf club a few times. He was certainly not expecting her to return to the dining room table as if nothing had ever happened either. The third alternative could be that she is a ghost. We never did find out what it was that he had done or why they had given him the nickname Ape. Maybe she was one of his past girlfriends and he had contributed to her death in some way and she now haunts him which could be another reason why only he can see her. Regardless, of who or what she was/is, it was still an excellent movie and he did an amazing job directing and acting in it! I also want to give a big thumbs up to the writer for coming up with such a great story....and anyone else who took part in creating this awesome short film. Awesome job to all of you!
