Thank you so much ❤️ I moved out of my parents house at 19 and never went back, I’m 29 now but only ever lived with roommates or relationships. Mainly because I couldn’t afford rent alone where I used to live! I’m so happy to finally have this experience and I think it’s coming at a really good time. And combined with a new city, this will be such good life experiences for me 🥺

Welcome to Texas 💕 suburbs of the cities are THE best! Close enough to everything but cheaper & much better for daily living. LOVE the set up!

Congrats ! I love the space you setup for yourself, and I agree with what others have said, the years I spent living alone were some of the best years of my life.

I live in DC too (Alexandria), moved to FL for 6 years, and then moved back. Living alone is THE BEST experience EVER!!!!………… i’m in a relationship now, but I don’t ever think we’ll live together. I just need my own space. Congrats on the move Texas is an awesome state to live!!!

I've been following you foor a while and I wanted to let you know that I appreciate how honest you are! Lol. Seriously. Knowing about the cost of rent, etc. is very helpful for me because I DO live in California (we're in San Diego county) and it's very pricy! So hearing how much things cost in other states opens my eyes and THANKS!!! Many people wouldn't feel comfortable sharing that information to the public. And that appartment is GORGEOUS!!!! I hope that you enjoy it. You have decorated it so beautifully.

The only thing I wanna swap out eventually is the dashes of pink decor, I’ve had that stuff for sooo long and as much as I still love pink I wanna go more beige neutral hehe. Just using what I had for now until I can buy some new decor pieces 😂

I love the minimal esthetic. My house is not minimal and I have tired. But with 4 kids, 6 dogs and 3 ferrets there is no minimal.

LOL when I lived with my ex we had 3 dogs and we learned pretty quickly that we could not have nice things 🤣 but now that it’s just me and my one small dog I’m very excited to make the place cute lol!

Hi Amanda, new subscriber from Korea :) been watching your videos but first time leaving a comment. Love your well-organized space and the cozy aesthetic❤ btw, did you destash the olive TN? I was looking for one..😊

I know that this is a lot to ask, and honestly Idk if you even read the billions of comments that you probably get on you tube, but would you be able to post more often? It doesn't even need to have words hahaha.... but you are very entertaining (not in a bad way, I appreciate your opinion and that's why I like watching your videos because you're KINDLY honest..) but I would love to hear more from you and sadly I'm on youtube a lot as I am studying or if i am doing routine tasks at work. How many planners are you using at the moment? lol. Right now I have four planners but honestly I only use one planner. Idk what to do with my A5 moterm and my filofax personal planner now... and my travelers notebook! Please help me! Lol.... any videos or advice on what you're doing right now would be extremely helpful. What do you journal about? I found myself in a journal slump lol. Sorry obviously I'm "in the zone" and don't want to do my homework or study for the exam that I have in two days." You're video is so much more interesting?

I’m about 30-40 minutes out of Houston (we’ll depending on what part of the city…it’s huge 😂). I would love to join other planner people if there is a meetup ❤️

It sure is huge LOL! And I’m the same actually, like a half hour outside of the city! So far I’ve been to a space city pen club meetup which was so much fun. Hoping to do some more IRL crafty things soon!

So true about the cities in Texas! The state as whole seems so culturally conservative, but Houston and Austin feel like LA or San Francisco in terms of the young progressives and LGBTQ friendliness. Dallas might be the exception haha

Yes, exactly!!! That is exactly what I’ve noticed from being here. Which is nice, I really like that.. it feels like it’s only the super rural areas that are very conservative. I love that Houston is diverse and progressive!

I guess I’m poor quality for liking a Keurig. 🥲 But I totally think you should get one of those fancy clear nespresso pod thingies.
