Last night I spoke to a dear friend, journalist Fiorella Isabel now based in Russia. Fiorella recently spent time in the Occupied Territories and I speak to her about her first impressions, her experience of Apartheid and life under occupation.

I remember years ago on twitter promoting Isobella to everyone when she was a part of The Covo Couch, including you VB, but no one took notice & it's good now that so many are taking notice of her work & giving her airtime. My one man #FreeMarwanBarghouti campaign fell on deaf ears in those days & it's good to see many now realising who he is & supporting him being freed.

I've spent time on the Pine Ridge reservation. There is no better humor. In the face of constant degradation from death from drugs, the presence of the CCP, the humor is off the charts. I understand what this woman is explaining about with the humor of the Palestinians in the midst of their unbelievable troubles. Thank you for reporting.

Thank you for this. It sounds like the West Bank is the same as 1950s South Africa or 1930s Germany. There is a ridiculous irony that people indoctrinated with a belief in being superior to others results in them being more barbaric. As a race I hope we can all grow out of it.
