Watching made me cry and cry. Looking for more info and doing research came across this video that is very informative. My 13 year old is due for a replacement of her aortic valve; due to leak and stenosis. Doctor told me about this replacement option and The Ross. I'm leaning more into the Ross for the long term, but the whole situation is very scary...

I read AB blood type confers a greater chance of clots and type O is resistant to clots. Does that info. get incorporated into risk calculations when make a choice between bio vs mechanical replacement valves?

This is very scary to me, I could barely watch the whole video
