The best counter Indians have to artillery in the Commerce Age is Flail Elephants. They are produced at the Castle 🏯 and their main benefit is a x4 multiplier versus artillery. They kind of suck otherwise, so they are best used to suddenly pop on top of nearby artillery. They also have an Area of Effect of 2, making them passable versus dense groups if they pop on top of them.

Flail Eles suck against artillery because they're melee so unless you manage to get them upclose you've wasted a lot of resources on them, don't bother making them, rather go up to fortress for mahouts, howdahs or even sieges eles.

@@H3LLGHA5T Going Fortress is generally the play, but Flail Eles can be good if they spawn within the range of the artillery. That makes it much easier to get them to the artillery. They are also not that expensive. They cost only 50 more resources than a Hussar. Only really works if you are using them defensively 🛡 though.

FYI you can control where the berry bush spawns on torps by setting a gather point while the torp is building like you would with a manor house.

@@SoldieRaoe lol you read that right... torps have waypoints and the berry bush responds to it like when crates spawn according to where your waypoint is set from your eco shipment point

Aoe3 has so few tournaments, especially serious ones, they are likely heavily affected by how seriously the players take the tournaments and prep for it. They are not so used to taking tournaments seriously they can play serious on habit.

Infantry Guns does upgrade the range, LOS and speed for leather cannons (alongside the usual), so maybe that's why he has that in his deck?

I'm suprised Shake doesn't have the torp tree card in age 4 for Swedes, that i almost send before my factories as Swedes

India's age 2 cav needs some rework,India really struggles if they don't get age 3 with enemy

I kinda wish they gave the Asian civs revolts like they had in real life. And India had the ability to revolt early into the East India Company like Mexico. Also, the camels 🐪 probably need some more reason to exist. The main issue is that they are barely faster than their counterparts, despite trading other stats for it. I would change it so: • Sowars get 8 speed, lose their reduced multiplier versus heavy infantry (they still will not be good versus them), and have 1 population. • Zamburaks get 9 speed and have their multiplier versus artillery in the Commerce Age. • Grazing changed to a technology at the Caravanserai changed to all the units it affects changed to +0.1 food/sec to make it weighted towards camels.
