I've got two of these Anysecu W5 radios. Had them for 7 months now. EXCELLENT radios !!! 👍👍

I have one of these, and I love it. The slightly larger antenna is telescopic if I recall correctly. Mine came with the protection cover for the side connector, but not the telescope antenna. I did put a longer antenna on it though, any SMA male antenna at 50 ohms will work. Zello works well on even 2G (Edge), which has the best coverage here in Norway, a lot better than 4G.

Any how where can we find the side connector protector?

I am surprised we don't see more radios that run some sort of OS for expanded features. I would to have a all mode VHF and or UHF radio that had Android with digital mode software built in. To do packet or slowscan TV or alike. Or even a portable HF SDR with Android.

How do you turn the "Bleep" off when transmitting on radio PTT?

I just recently got mine, its a bit glitchy. Single PTT is difficult to life with and the UHF app is pretty glitchy. It doesn’t receive if its charging

Any idea which handheld speaker microphone works with this unit?

Yes the inrico speaker mic works well.

Why does it say CXCSS instead of CTCSS?
