When Jackson was missing all those chances, why did he keep Jackson as a number 9? When pep noticed that John stones was been out paced, what did he do? He changed it and brought on Diaz. That's a coach that reads the game. Poch doesn't read.

Sterling, even though he has been inconsistent and has less game time than Jackson, has the same amount of g/a as Jackson, and that's with the own goals scored from his shots like the one against Burmley and Middlesbrough not counted. Or his goal contributions like Jackson's goal against Burnley or where he racks up penalties or the pressure he brings against teams that parked the bus against us like Newcastle in the EFL, Burnley, Sheffield, Luton, West Ham, Bournemouth, Aston Villa in the first game and the FA Cup, Not to mention, one of the only 2 wingers to make Kyle Walker look like 2022-23 Harry Maguire. Most of the time we play him, he gets double teamed because he's fast and a pure dribbler. This is without considering the fact that he is the second highest when it comes to creating chances. Let's also not forget he is our only player to score against City twice this season, both home and away. He's also one of the only 2 Chelsea players to be nominated for Player of the month this season. Everyone was mad at Southgate for not taking Sterling back in October's international break

@fbomb.0163 Mudryk has potential, but he isn't ready. The moment he faced an actual RB, he got exposed, and his pace couldn't help him. But in terms of team play, build up and off the ball movements, he is clear of Jackson. Jackson can't play as a striker, so he'll take up space on the wing, we have seen him do that to Mudryk against Burnley at home. Mudryk was on the counter, and Jackson stood on his left instead of going into the center for a cross and this is coming from someone who doesn't rate Mudryk.

You can always tel when it's a coach problem. 2014/15, we won the league with Mourinho. It was Drogba's last season. We had the time of our lives. 2015/16, we let go of Mourinho, brought idiots like Eddie Newton, Steve Holland, and Guus, we finished 10th, and Leicester won the league. 2016/17, we got Antonio Conte, and we saw arguably one of the best Chelsea teams ever. The coach has power over the players. We saw Pep yelling at Foden for a simple mistake, yet our coach kept quiet when Jackson missed a 1v1. Mourinho or Conte wouldn't have let him play another game, let alone the second half. This was a semifinal. Your main objective should be winning the game. It was clear that the favorite for the cup would be the winner of that semifinal. If we had won, we would've been favorites. We should've focused on winning the game, not bosting players' confidence.

@hundfeyr9978 this is not a coaches issue tho, this is a quality and mentality issue, most of these players are in their first full season in the EPL and there was so many changes made that we got rid of so many players that have never played together and imo are not good enough, weve made a couple good signings but the rest are trash, during the years youre speaking of, we actually had decent players in our squad and winners in our squad so when the new manager comes in hes got some top quality players to help you bounce back, you can tell when its the manager and when players stop playing for the manager, andcthis season thecplayers are all playing tor the manager theyre all on side with him, but we dont have the experience or quality up front to put games away, jackson missed 3 big chances in that game, but if you look at his stats for the season hes actually not been a complete flop, he definitely could have more goals but hes invdouble figures for the season, and hes young hes only 21 or 22 years old and hes converted from a winger to a striker half way through last season, in a couple years he can definitely be a good 2nd striker for us, he still wouldnt be my first choice we still need a world class stiker but jackson could be a goid 2nd striker, but our main problem is recruitment, we need to stop buying 16 year olds and inexperienced players, we need to recruit top players like we use to when we were a top club with top ownership!!

Poch has sometimes made the best decisions, and I know we haven't played our original starting XI at all, but you have to improvise at times. And it was Kante's sexond year in 2017 when we won the prem. As a coach, there are decisions that need to be made. People like Lamine Yamal, Endrick, and Kobee Mainoo aren't old enough to even drink alcohol yet they're delivering for the club. The players are underperformed, but the manager is responsible for them. He chose the starting line up. He chose not to sub them off until that late in the game.

Even us Chelsea fans must grow and be patient. Poch is building something strong with Chelsea. Let us focus on the next transfer window and buy quality players

Chelsea didn't lose this game because City scored in the 84th, Chelsea lost this game on Monday when poch waited until the 88th to sub gusto. Imagine being 5 up by the 64th, knowing you have city I the semis and knowing gusto your last true rb has had injuries all season and yet waiting until the 88th to rest him, every one and their nan knew doku vs disasi was going to have one winner so it surprised noone that 5 mins after the sub the goal came from a cross after doku done him

Poch is a terrible coach...why start Enzo in this game...they said Enzo had the least touches of any player first half...we don't need 3 DMs playing...Enzo is too slow!

What a total knob that guy is, we played very very well, defended well, the mid field linked up with defence and attack, we created many chances, and we didnt put them away, so many positives, and the only negative is the result.
