They all look like silver rounds to me (replicas of old coins).

You've got a few double dates in there. With coins, I'm superstitious: I don't keep them together unless there is a whole bunch of them, or a whole roll of the same coin. 'Especially old coins....I would just store them separately.

I think that they are fakes. Not an expert but I don't think the dates match the designs and halfs are not the same size as dollars.

They have been money (obviously), but high silver content, likely. ... you can hear the difference if you take something silver and tap it to more silver, vs. Other metal: Hence why Christmas bells were of silver, or at least silver plated, like the song. The colour actually was not what was being referenced, though it is a nice general colour. Gold, even, also does not sound as pleasant to the general human populus. ... try silver to aluminum, and silver to silver, and the difference is remarkable. (But, you also have to allow for percussion/sound reverberation, not deafen the tone by holding the silver object tightly). The age-related/natural patinas also display the approximate content quantity, but I don't know how much of what else ...
