Cool spot! I got a 43 war nickel in change at McDonald’s today! Pretty excited. Some how I’ve never found a silver coin when detecting even when I go with the chigg. One of these days.

Ick, you had me at ticks...uff da. My Mom always ended up with at least one from the tall grass at the Farmstead in North Dakota. Me, I've had one or two, but hate them almost as much as mosquitos.

You know the year the dam broke. When was the lake formed? If after the silver era it would make sense you you wouldn't find any.
