Ok the last sentence explains why u think Aaron Rodgers is a Joe Montana. FYI Aaron is overAted. 77 yards against Broncos lol. Could barely throw 250 yards in games without Jordy Nelson. He will be exposed as overAted again this year

You're not focusing on the process. His pre-snap approach, the way he reads defenses, his footwork in the pocket, his arm, accuracy, how dangerous he is on the right side, how he can extend plays despite the receivers who can't create separation. Rodgers hasn't had a top tier defense since '10 or '11. He's never had Ronnie Lott on the other side of the ball, or Jerry Rice. And, he damn sure hasn't had a coach like Walsh.

Ray Petree I used to be a big fan of his but watchin his struggle last season and bein overhyped made me dislike him. Even when he plays bad everyone is ready to call him the greatest with one ring and a bunch of excuses. He can rebound and prove his hype one day but I'm sick of excuses bein made for him when he struggles. Meanwhile Brady has the worst offensive line in the game and nearly makes it to the Super Bowl and puts up big numbers with less then a second to throw. I dislike him because people make excuses for him and Peyton but never for Brady. I'm sure one might come from u. Also even if he starts provin me wrong and dominating again I'll never root for a guy that disowns his own family. I don't root for traitors.

Exactly what Rodgers said: Doesn't matter who you have in the backfield, who you have open, the offensive line protects the quarterback. If you do not have a great offensive line.....hardly matters who is quarterback because he is either getting sacked left and right or has to throw way too early under pressure/throw it out of bounds/spike it/attempt a run he doesn't want to do. OFFENSIVE LINE IS KEY FOR A GREAT QUARTERBACK TO DO GREAT THINGS. So many NFL teams just don't understand that. The offensive line cannot be understated. If the best defensive is a good offensive it starts and ENDS with a good offensive line. A mediocre quarterback can make great throws if he has an extra second or two or maybe even three. Offensive line is paramount.

I'm a Lions fan (ugh, I know), but Rodgers has been one of my favorites since maybe a year after he got the top job in Green Bay. I actually root for Rodgers a bit when he's playing Detroit, despite me not wanting him to win ;-) At about 6:15 in the video, he talks about "sensing it," as to when the defensive line might jump offside. That's an incredible sense that might come naturally to him, but is evasive for many QBs, NFL-quality or not. This is a really interesting conversation and I subbed to Simmons and this channel just because of it. Rodgers clearly "gets it" and, if you're in leadership at all, you can derive a lot from his comments.

He was immensely more talented than Montana and that’s what he was saying pure talent.

Simmons is also wrong about the rules favoring offenses. For a few years, the changes absolutely favored offenses, but defenses and their coordinators have adjusted. The best teams in recent years have won championships with stellar defensive play. Even the Patriots won by getting a huge stop at the goal line.
