@@johntrevy1 Nah, the files got corrupted ages ago. I'm focusing more now on my YT channel which consists of game development tutorials. However, the prototype that I made barely covered the detailed story which I crafted, I like the story so much that I'm planning to re-create the game in AAA quality in the future, but that is going to be some time.

I would basically say that this game is just a very well-defined Amnesia: The Dark Descent custom mod.

"I started hearing voices after sustaining war wounds, probably world war one" *clicks flashlight* "Ah batteries!"

It's them quiet games that will get you. I was playing Here They Lie a year ago and stopped after two vids, but have to finish it this upcoming week. I don't like leaving things unfinished.

I liked this..Spooky but not gruesome.. plus, the story was well put together ( but I enjoy games with well thought out plots ) and I like that you read the pieces rather than rushing past them. Thanks !

Forgot you were reading the intro at first, then the bit of humor with the hole, that really seemed to fit. Surprise Markiplier kind of killed the tension, but over all enjoyed it!

Aside from using Amnesia’s sounds & effects, they definitely used music from Outlast 2 at the 29:24 mark during the escape. I wonder if they got permission to use those samples. Actually, that was longer than a sample; it was the entire chase theme from Outlast 2 lol. Good game so far though.

anyone else notice they ("Sketch") used a bunch of sounds and items from amnesia: the dark descent in the game...? :/ and then called it their own.

I enjoyed this game wish that there was more.

SPOIL (kinda) The game actually seemed quite interesting in the beginning,but later it turned out to be extremely boring. At my personal opinion I think that happened from the time we realized that we just have to deal with a simple monster which we just should avoid by hiding,running,etc.The whole horror disappeared right at this point I guess.Although,i watched it all because it is you that played Cju,u are talented. Also, the reading parts are always nice :).

Seems like someone played Amnesia and thought to themselves: "Yeah I could do that... Probably."

Amnesia and Outlast sounds aside it seems decent overall. At least it's not a bug riddled mess with a crappy plot like say, one of our favorite examples of crappy horror; Wooden House.

I'm not a programmer, though I had read that Unity is somewhat easier to use for novices than Unreal. Like you, it IS my impression that Unreal generally yields better visual results.

Great. Because of this game I finally managed to have a look at itch.io - seeing so many games on there I watched you play. Dilemma. Stop watching your vids so that I can play them unprepared - or keep watching your vids and not be able to have this "first hand experience"? ... Well, obvious answer is obvious.

I know this is just development but I don't get why he is being chased. The beginning of the game made it seem like he was being contacted supernaturally but the antagonist is just some guy in the dark.

It be nice if the game's volume is higher than your voice, cant hear the back round of the game =(

The Dark Descent has better mechanics, but Machine for pigs has a far better and more disturbing story, so absolutely worth it.

Kinda budget Amnesia. It even samples environment sounds from the same source (pick-up sounds and the glass objects for example). Hopefully it will be more than someone's Amnesia fanfic made in Unity.

The game makes me wonder why they didn't just make an Amnesia mod, since that's basically what this all comes down to. Also, KZreadr Easter Eggs are the worst thing in games.

You have probably realized in the 5 years passed that this game was nothing more than a standalone custom story/full conversion mod for amnesia the dark descent. Full conversion mod means you don't need the main game installed to run it.

Markiplier Easter egg ruined the game for me

"Easter eggs"? More like "desperation eggs". "Please play me Mr Markieplier sir, I'm ever so good!" Ugh.

This game is very boring, got a little interested when it said you were not alone. which ends up being a lie....you being the only thing around for most of the experience...
