Antweight Combat Robot: Cheesecake

The first prototype of my robot "Cheesecake" was overweight, but all the basic functions worked, and the overall design seemed solid. The second version made weight, so I took it to the tournament, even though I hadn't really tested it. It is a direct-drive horizontal asymmetric bar spinner with one tooth, carbon fiber top and bottom chassis plates, and a 3D printed TPU middle.

This channel has kind of been a dream discovery. My favorite part about combat robots is watching them develop and evolve as they fight and encounter new strategies. Will definitely be sharing to my friends. I wish great things for you going forward.

Were there going to be different weapons types on cheesecake?

Yep! I might actually go back to the disc shape to reduce drag through the air. And I was originally going to make Cheesecake have two weapon discs on the same vertical axle to create a fully invertible undercutter, but it was too heavy and complicated.
