Very nice to hear the German and French bassoons together. I would like hear this combination play the Vanhal Concerto for Two Bassoons.

The key work on both reveals they are both German bassoons. You can order most bassoons w the metal ring on the bell joint

The guy on the right is playing a French bassoon and the guy on the left is playing a German bassoon. They are very different in design and sound very different. Listen to the first movement where they echo each other's passages if you want the best sound comparison

@@mikegiacaman6755 You're welcome. The French bassoon is actually closer in design to the classical and baroque bassoons, the German bassoon is basically a redesign of the classical instrument. It has a wider bore and more conical. If you listen carefully you will hear the French bassoon has a thinner sound but is much better in the upper register. The German has a much bigger fuller sound, but at the expense of the upper register which is why, I think he's playing the lower voice.

Два фаготиста обалденно исполнили этот концерт, третья часть настолько поразила своим интересным рефреном, что радости нет предела. Вивальди знал толк в музыке. А что по большому счету там в 3 части? Многократно повторяющаяся необычная музыкальная тема и небольшое обрамление. (Ну как, не совсем небольшое. Там полноценный диалог инструментов даже в 3 части). Но как же красиво-то! До этого ролика данное произведение я не слышал, а ведь оно звучит лучше, чем для виолончелей, для которых Вивальди и написал его. Р.S. Исходное произведение для виолончелей тоже звучит круто, как я смог убедиться. Это какой-то рок-хит, для 18 века написанный. Если бы Вивальди жил в 20 или 21 веке, то он насочинять успел бы и рок хитов настоящих.
