Yeah, to everyone who says that Antonblast is ripping off Pizza Tower... By that logic, Pizza Tower is ripping off Wario Land, so what? I wanna see a resurgence of the goofy puzzle platformers, and since Wario is more interested in making microgames (which feels bizarre that I can say that and mean the actual character in this instance), we gotta have other people do it.

The people saying that don't know that Antonblast and Pizza Tower are the sons of Wario and as a result are bound by blood. You cannot bad talk Antonblast and still be in the good graces of Pizza Tower.

​@@3y3Dalthough pizza tower Is expressive, it's thinner in comparasing, the lines (artsyle), the characters and gimmicks, the music tho, they're all great

i found it kinda weird how they replaced anton crashing downwards with his hammer to him just going headfirst into the concrete but hey at least it looks funnier

They didn't, you just now have an extra movement option to go straight down which was an issue in one of the older demo's: You had no way to go down faster. The move called is the Anton Bomb, I believe, and that's the reason why it exists. Compared to Pizza Tower, AntonBlast is much more vertically challenging which means that giving the player the option to go straight down helps in a lot more use-cases than it should.

@@crabbycakey dude no in dynamite demo 1 you could press down to do a downwards hammer slam but on dynamite demo 2 that was entirely replaced with the antomic bomb

I like how almost all gameplay I see of both levels plays Boiler City as Anton and Cinnamon Springs as Annie

I love how AntonBlast not only takes inspiration from Wario Land 4, but also from Virtual Boy Wario Land and even Cow & Chicken (Satan here sounds an _awful lot_ like the Red Guy)!

I just got this demo on my Switch Lite! It's pretty fun!

you can see the love for crash bandicoot in this game like crazy - i didn't know this was gonna be a crash bandicoot lovin game and i'm 100% here for it holy shit also i appreciate that they changed the sound of collecting chips, that was a little annoying in the first demo lel

9:24 there's a little glitch, if you perform the slam just enough to the left. You can make it through the secret cassette skipping the area, good for speedruns ig

1. I was under the impression that this was a steam only game so seeing that it's coming out on the switch caught me off guard. 2. the style / over the tope sounds and animation makes this game feel like a mid to late 90s PS1 game and I love it
