I remember I lived in New Hampshire and this was my sophomore year of high school, my mom moved us to California on Christmas and I was hoping they made it to the finals because everyone around me was a Lakers fan. The Celtics didn't pull it out but the Patriots ended up pulling one off against the raiders so that made up for that lol. What a time in my life and what a time to be a New England sports fan. Pedro in his prime, Antoine and Paul Pierce the big one two punch, and Tom Brady coming of age with the Patriots.

The Celtics should’ve won this game and the entire series. The Nets were not enough to make the NBA finals that year in 2002. That’s why they got swept, and the entire series was completely boring. If The Celtics went (that renews the rivalry.)Paul and Antoine would’ve took Kobe and Shaq to six or maybe seven.

Pierce was best player entire league vs Cali teams from like 2000-2004 that finals would have been dope celtica had no Shaq answer and would have lost be it would have been sweet to watch for all

@@MLomax-32123 Nets we’re not enough competition for the lakers and that’s why they got swept in four and the kings should’ve went to the Finals that year but the NBA wanted the big market lakers in the finals and not the small market Kings it was said in 2008 about the 2002 WCF “Referee A that Referees A and F wanted to extend the series to seven games. Tim knew referees A and F to be 'company men,' always acting in the interest of the NBA, and that night, it was in the NBA's interest to add another game to the series.” Only for another night prime time advertising a good ratings

Jim O Brien was the better coach than Rick Pinto he should’ve been anointed earlier before 2002
