he was a nightmare for fans of old time celtics ball in boston. he played shitty ball, came to camp in worse and worse shape each year. called himself a "veteran all star" after making the all star squad ONCE. he shot tons of 3's as his career dragged on and did NOT shoot them well. did not shoot his 2's well either. before long he was a 50% free throw shooter. and he had a fat little lackey named glenn ordway as his biggest defender in the media- something i have never been able to figure out because walker's style of play was KILLINGGGG and already mediocre team. but antoine would not change. he would not keep himself in shape. he got an undeserved huge contract extension. he had a few heroic moments of game winning shots or passes but overall his career was a disaster. he SEEMED to be a nice guy but a nice stand up guy would have come to camp in shape. after a few years in the league he showed up so fat and out of shape that he barely got in shape by the end of the season. he had his boy ricky pitino also covering up for his fat ground-bound ass. just a bad overall mixture in boston. part of why his nba career only lasted until age 30 was because he was well known as a dipshit around the league- couldn't be bothered to stay in shape and do the right thing for his own body and his reputation AND body both broke down around the same time

as a celtics fan it was maddening watching this dude eat himself out of the league. it didn't have to be like that. he was genuinely lazy because his greatest gift was, when he was in shape, juking dudes out of their jocks on the post with nice little spin moves. his ability to have the quickness to succeed in the post faded with time because of poor conditioning. all unforced errors. no coach, especially that dipshit pitino would talk to him or GET THROUGH about the importance of shot selection. this also led pierce down the primrose path of horrendous shot selection for several years. it really messed up the whole team. lazy chuck-a-three ball- antoine was the earliest version of that- and not a consistent shooter from deep. his cold streaks far outlasted the hot moments. if you were a celts fans in the late 1990s you had to remove all sharp objects from whatever room you were watching the game in because this dude made you crazy

Some people might say he's a stupid person and he would be a better person if he taught his friends financial responsibility rather than the lavush lifestyle that he admitted to.. you think his friends took the money and vested in lower risk investment portfolios? You're joking and your kidding if you think so! so you need to rethink and retool your thinking on that

Cheat code for overnight millionaires: Buy a 10-15 year old car that still looks & runs good. Move into a upscale apartment with security. Buy clothes at wal mart. Deny that you have that much money. If someone asks tell them the government took all of it. Do this for one year and you will find out who your real friends are .... Or relocate.

I am a multi family syndicator and one of my main goals is to show athletes how to earn passive income through multi family investing. This story is all to common for athletes esp those of color. Nothing to show for after sacrificing their lives and bodies.
@Iambriangregory
2 жыл бұрын
How are your goals working out? Because investing in multi-family seems to be the most sensible thing to do with one's money as it would provide income and a place to live in an emergency for the athlete for the rest of his life theoretically and he could put several in different parts of the country if he didn't know where he wanted to live he'd have one on each Coast when in Florida one in Texas and he'd be set

as a celtics fan it was maddening watching this dude eat himself out of the league. it didn't have to be like that. he was genuinely lazy because his greatest gift was, when he was in shape, juking dudes out of their jocks on the post with nice little spin moves. his ability to have the quickness to succeed in the post faded with time because of poor conditioning. all unforced errors. no coach, especially that dipshit pitino would talk to him or GET THROUGH about the importance of shot selection. this also led pierce down the primrose path of horrendous shot selection for several years. it really messed up the whole team. lazy chuck-a-three ball- antoine was the earliest version of that- and not a consistent shooter from deep. his cold streaks far outlasted the hot moments. if you were a celts fans in the late 1990s you had to remove all sharp objects from whatever room you were watching the game in because this dude made you crazy

You can best believe he isn't as broke as he's making it seem. I can almost guarantee he's got gold and silver stashes, and off shore accounts in different currencies. Well, at least he should.

Real shit.
After taxes throughout his career he probably netted 60 million .... subtract about 20 mil on houses strippers, jewelry, cars and friends and you have 40 million ....you can EASILY lose that much in even modest commercial real estate fiascos
@Iambriangregory
