That last note as it shifts to the Antichamber title always gets me. Something about the harmonics in it are so soothing yet eerie.

This game is a fucking masterpiece, a modern piece of art. It deservers way more attention. I completed it a few minutes ago. I also found all the signs.

if you go by sales it got plenty of attention. i think antichamber is anticlimactic and minimalist, which it why it always feels like it's underrated. because there isn't much else to say about it, even though it's an amazing experience in the moment.

This game is one of the best puzzle games ever created. Dev if you are reading this, please please PLEASE continue to explore this space more. Even all these years later this game still is so unique.

One of my Favourite games. Makes you feel like a genius when you beat it. The thing I like about it the most is how it doesn't hold your hand as you try to figure it out, just lets you teach yourself the rules.

I honestly felt at home. I felt like the puzzle designer could've been my older brother; every puzzle made me smile in joy.

I just really want a second one.

I finished the game today. I felt so sad that all the puzzles were over :C

+Соɾу ℛ. I've played and finished the talos principle as well as the Gehenna DLC. Yet some aspects to of the even the most up to date counter-intuitive problem solving games. Can never quite compare with the...'environment' anti chamber has to offer.

This trailer is as impeccable as the game itself is. I could watch it dozens of times. By showing the clips in such rapid sequence, this trailer demonstrates something you won't necessarily notice about the game while playing, which is how much the experience is enhanced by the various sounds and ambient music. That's where the vast majority of the chills come from.

Wow it's only a few days until this game turns a decade old. Time sure does fly by when you're in non-euclidian space, huh?

One of the greatest games and the greatest metaphor for life the gaming industry will ever see. Play it.

What is good about this game, is that even when you come back to try again to succeed in a level it doesn't feel like the last time, so it doesn't give you that sensation of being repetitive, because each choice you take doesn't necessary fails or it's a success, what's important is to make a choice...

Just finished this game and I have to say this is one of the most unique and interesting games I've ever played. Only downside is shortness. It took me a bit over four hours to complete the game. Most of the puzzles seemed very logical to me. And when they didn't, I knew I had missed something. But still, I don't think this is an easy game. And I will do another playthrough to find more secrets and those few sign things I missed. If you like puzzle games, you should definitely buy this.

Ever wonder what it'd be like to be trapped in an interdimensional maze? Easily the best game I've ever played. Absolutely INCREDIBLE.

Most underrated game 2013!

As someone who went to University with the guy whence he was still making it, I thought it was novel but would never sell. Years later he's been doing nothing but working on it and flying around the world showing it at various places. Now it's on Steam.

Not only do the puzzles them self fuck with you but the ambient noise in the background too! I love this game :)

Still one of my all-time favourite games!

everyday I still wish for a second one.

Finished it last night. Incredibly fun and very challenging most of the time, it requires you shed your natural, 3 dimensional expectations.

In the future, please leave puzzle solutions out of the comments for the trailer. As the official Twitter feed of the game says: "I strongly recommend staying away from walkthroughs for Antichamber. You only get to experience the puzzles once. Take a break instead." The puzzles are what make this game so mind-blowingly awesome. It's still a new game and many people haven't had a chance to experience it yet.

Sooo... sequel? I loved this game. Absolutely brilliant.

Easily, easily the best puzzle game I've ever played. It makes every other puzzle game ever look and feel like child's play. It puts you in this world with totally different laws of physics, then sets you up to figure those rules out one at a time, then use them to clear puzzles you didn't even comprehend before, much less were capable of solving. It reminds me of 1st grade spatial reasoning puzzles, writ large. (I wonder if a child would do better at Antichamber than an adult?)

Fantastic, intelligent, atmospheric, perhaps even moving, thoroughly well made game. The game doesn't have that much replay value, but I think that everyone should play this game through at least once. A thoroughly original game and completely engrossing, unlike anything I've played before. This is what games should be like, making them should be an art, something creative - the quality of a game shouldn't be measure just by graphics, as some people seem to think nowadays.

Yup. I recall playing the beta/alpha, it was a lot of fun and used some great sound and puzzle designs, though some of it was also very unforgiving, when it came to "oh you did one thing wrong, you have to start over and spend another 10 minutes on this puzzle you already know how to solve". Being an early version, it was also unclear whether certain puzzles were not finished/broken, or just very difficult.

THIS GAME IS 10 YEARS OLD??? I would have thought this came out 2 or 3 years ago. Gonna get it later.

You know that totally awestruck, almost terrified feeling you get watching this trailer? That's what the final portion of the game feels like.

It's not about the graphics when the aesthetics are this good.

I got to play a little at a convention and just found out that it is on steam. Have already bought it. Can't wait to waste the rest of the day. This game is so addicting.

Might need to play this with some smooth jazz playing, to fortify myself.

Even the trailer is very well done (even better after finishing the game and noticing the details) You can't even imagine the amount publicity I made of this game to my friends and colleagues

How can something be so simple but so fucking.........*Dies*

I bougth and played through it in pretty much one sitting some days ago. I really enjoyed the block puzzles, and feel the game was over all very well polished. I managed to glitch the non-euclidean geometry a few times (really just a kind of portals), which resulted in some very weird visuals. One thing I enjoyed was using using ~8 blocks to make 200 blocks, and then use those to elevator myself to pretty much anywhere. That was great!

Play this game is something of unbelievable. This is a totally illogic and dreamlike world. Beautiful experience.

Just purchased this game. Downloading it as we speak. Its refreshing to see a simple mind game.

srsly one of the best game i have ever played.

It's a puzzle game. CoD is all about teamwork and making quick accurate simple decisions. This is more like finding the loopholes in the rules.

I looooooved this game

I suggested someone play this and they got mad when they saw the gun and said "Portal Ripoff" and walked away. The next day he saw me playing it and spent about an hour trying to understand what was going on. I haven't heard from him in 3 days. According to steam, he's playing it right now.

I started this game about two minutes ago and my brain is already hurting.

Well, Portal is Portal, but this man is a genius.

It's on the Steam Autumn Sale! And probably will be on the Holiday Sale too. So SAVE YOUR MONIES.

I remember hearing about this game before it got renamed. It used to be called "Hazard: the Journey of Life".

It's still an issue in the finished game. There is also times where you figure out a puzzle, then you have to spend a tedious yet meticulous length of time awkwardly building blocks through a small crack, sometimes wondering optimistically, yet self-detrimentally, whether there may be a smarter less taxing solution. The problem is insignificant in comparison how good the overall game is though. You should really go buy it.

Portal had a lot of engineers and people working on it. This was made only by a brilliant mind.

Yes, all those games had a first-person perspective where the main character is trapped in a pristine white environment where a new game mechanic is introduced via a handheld device which you can point and click to manipulate color-coded reality bending objects. Or maybe you're just referring to the wording.

I had to resort to a few video walkthroughs - but it was mostly I'm watching and the person puts a block in one spot and all of a sudden it ALL MAKES SENSE and I stop the video and go back to playing. I only needed a little push in the right direction.

I've been looking forward to this game for three years! I'm so happy its out :D

Just finished this game a few hours ago, definitely one of the harder puzzle games I've played, very different style for sure. Also damn good! I completed it 100% in about 10 or 11 hours, and it was a ton of fun.

I don't know if I'll get brain tumor after finishing this game but I'd love to play it anyway

Let's take it one step further. Imagine playing this while drunk or high with the Oculus Rift on... Awesome idea in theory, but it will most likely ensue great pain mentally and even physically.

Oh! I remember playing the alpha version of this. I never beat the game because I got stuck on the puzzle that tells you not to overthink the puzzle.

As we learnt our world , we learn this totally other world . Enough said ?

Why oh why isn't there a mac version (yet). Truly frustrating, the game looks so beautiful and refreshing.

Completed this in one sitting yesterday, took me about 5/6 hours. One of the best games I've ever played; similar to Portal, in that it really breaks the mould and makes you go OOOOO! It gets a bit more 'puzzley' and a bit less 'mindfucky' towards the end, but that doesn't make it any less brilliant.
