Check out what I've found :)
And check out next video on ceramic ball type of pads!

Excellent!! Very good to know, because nobody want to talk about these kind of tips, good information. Once again this is the kind of videos we really need!! Thank you!!! And I hope people share your videos so you can keep reviewing realistic stuff!!!!

Interesting piece of kit, thanks for posting.
I have these among others. Especially important to add weight to the top of the component too

Have you also tried different kind of wood underneath devices or speakers? Linke for instance Wonderwood blocks from Audiomaat?

For the speakers I usually prefer spikes on granite. To my surprise it works and in most cases cleans the treble region. I have no good explanation for this phenomena. However, this is not always positive, as for my B&W 705 spikes caused ringing and harshness. So its not always 100% granted gain. Under one of my small bookshelf setups I have a sandwitch of granite, foam and 2 layers of bamboo boards. Works well but the need there was just to raise the speakers for about 15 cm while looking good and "audiophile" :D
There are solid seismic apps for the phones ;)

Yes, I've tried them some time ago and gyro in the phone is not sensitive enough to react to another phone vibrating on the same table:) It reacts if I hit the table with my fist okay, but for that I don't need fancy app ;) Phone gyro sensors are good only for shaking the phone for farming in games etc (unfortunately)..
What are the ceramic isolation ones you mentioned at the end of the video? I found some that had three ceramic bearings. Is that the one you mention?

They have 3 ceramic balls inside, there's another video on these scheduled for 30th so stay tuned :)

Never did see your ceramic video? Also, have you tested out any AliExpress power filtration units?
@k4syx

I had to move some things in queue, ceramic ones are scheduled for 6th :) and yes these have three ceramic balls. As for power filtration units I've only tested power strips with EMI filters, nothing fully active with toroidal trafos inside.

@@Temmple these and the ones with three ceramic balls. These two designs (from reputable producers) got some high scores in the shootout that I've found somewhere over the web a few months ago. So I got two from 1st and 2nd places, seems like everyone is copying every design anyway.
Where is my promised kz pr3 video? 2 weeks and counting ;)

They are finishing burn in, I'll do it during next 3-4 days. These are planars, so it takes some time. Good news is that there was also a pair of KZ ZEX (dynamic+electrostat) preparing together with them :)

Ready, uploaded, scheduled for 6th of June (I've moved it to the front of headphone reviews). God it really needed those 410 hours of burn in, if I had reviewed them last week than verdict on them would be totally different!

@@k4syx thanks btw what is your ‘burning in’ method? Do you play any particular playlist for the number or hours or perhaps just play white noise continuously for some period of time?
Where so you get these? AliExpress?

@@k4syx can you put these on speakers stand?

@@MasterofPlay7 Yes thats one of intended usage scenarios. Most of floorstanding speakers have factory fitted spikes but you can use these instead.
Anti vibration pads for DAC, say no more
@k4syx
Ай бұрын
Yes but have you actually watched video? :) On the other hand, DACs are bad example here because quality oscillators (clocks for regular folk) are sensitive to vibration. Completely different question is if you'll be able to spot the difference, and there are better (though stupidly radical) ways to dampen the XO's than pads. All in all good for ventilation :)
If you think these make a difference make a video of you blindfolded and picking which dac has the feet underneath them in which doesn't. I bet my entire system that 1. You don't make the video and come up with all sorts of excuses why 2. You'd fail the test

Nah, Id said clearly this borders on placebo. Buy them if you need to lift your equipement to have better air circulation, buy them if the original stock feet are terrible, buy them if you have some money to burn for placebo level SQ effect. Do not buy them and expect meaningful sound quality gains

@@k4syx Im pretty sure you did say you can hear a difference too.
@k4syx

@@crazyprayingmantis5596 yeah very very slight one bordering on placebo because it was only on some specific tracks. Repeatable, but very very small. Changing any cable in the system yelds two orders of magnitude larger effects. So, not really worth spending money if you count on sound quality improvement. But ventilation, and looks - yes. They are fine for that. Having said that I've realized I haven't tested them with speakers (I have just 4 of them). They may actually work there as I can hear difference in speaker spikes vs soft pads (it's not always positive btw)

@@k4syx I'd love to see a video of you blindfolded someone swapping things out and you picking which cable is which are which are spikes vs soft pads. I've been challenging KZread audiophiles for a decade to SHOW us that you can do what you claim you can do and so far not 1 person!!!!! has taken me up on that challenge, will you be the first? My motto is If you can't SHOW it You don't KNOW it. Can you SHOW it?

@@crazyprayingmantis5596 I could, why not, but two questions: what's in it for me :) and the second one: that would look silly, moreover I'm 1000prc sure that the first comment would be that this was a setup, the second one that somebody off that camera was giving me the hints, the third one would state that nobody hears the difference in the video (which could actually be true because I have no idea if camera is able to catch so small differences in SQ), the fourth one would be that I'm a liar and this all is lie and so on. Would you, yourself, actually believe such a video? I think there's actually a better way: just try it for yourself, with your own setup. Don't buy anything fancy. Get a cheap Cardas copy that I've reviewed as this sounds shitty, worse than standard free black IEC cable. Listen to it and vomit :)
