Ah always good to see heavy metal Khorne infantry builds!

Sometimes you can really feel the dwarves stubborn presence in games, or sometimes they really surprise you as these runaway units sneak back onto objectives and just don't let go. This is neither of those matches. RIP.

One thing i always found lacking about Khorne are his SEMs. Skarbrand and Bloodthirsters feel nowhere near as menacing as they should, being one of the fiercest fighters in Warhammer universe.

I dunno about Skarbrand, but I'm absolutely with you in the more generic bloodthirsters. It feels so bad seeing the greater daemons - not just for khorne, but even for other gods - be so underwhelming a good chunk of the time

@@Drocksas They have a huge balancing problem in campaign, and I think that makes them weak in custom. Late Game Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slaanesh get 1 use of every spell of their lore PER greater daemon. Takes till like turn 100 to get all the techs though at the earliest. Khorne gets free bloodthirsters with late game bloodhosts. Despite that I still think they should have a fat buff. They are all expensive units in factions with weak economics.

Skarbrand is insanely broken, but you have to use him as a chariot. He can run trough infantry really easily and the knockback dmg takes care of the rest. Also he is a very good 1v1 duelist obviously. Skarbrand is fine. BT indeed, very lackluster unfortunately.

Skarbrand can fold pretty much anything 1v1, and also mulches infantry pretty decently. The problem with him is that he is huge and so easy to shoot it's not even funny.

Watching Dwarfs is so often depressing. Always getting outmanoeuvred and pulled apart. I've never really understood why they gave them poor damage output on their basic units or heroes.

i think it would be well justified to knock thorgrims health up to ~10k, it would fit his lore well (he sits on a throne crafted by a literal god and adorned with a rune so powerful, theres only enough magic for one of its kind in the world and its said if it breaks, the end of the dwarfen race will end) and yes ik he already rocks some insane stats, but it make him more viable, and as by far the greatest high since snorri whitebeard (grombrindal) himself, i think he should also get large scale to army wide buffs (similar to thorek, but focused on defence). im aware that making a race's strongest character always be its leader can be somewhat dull, it fits few people better than thorgrim, because he is an absolute beast in any regard, and that should be reflected ingame, especially more than it is currently the case

@@TheSakurambou yeah I really hope so. Yet, as much as I'd love a thorgrim rework, I think there's many other factions&lords in way more imminent need of help. But on the other hand, that line of thought is how the dwarfs ended up where they are now, always being okay enough not to be prioritised; I just hope CA will get around to the good old dawi rather sooner than later

I don’t think more HP is the answer. I think having AP and better buffs to units would be nice. But that’d come with a cost increase.

I really hope that skulltaker or karanak gets added as legendary lords for khorne… both would be a lot of fun to play with, especially skulltaker, such an amazing looking model would be really fun to duel other lords in game.

Exactly. The Dwarf heroes and lords are badass fighters bedecked in loads of runic armour and weapons, I've never understood why they suck so bad in TW3.

@@AlJohnstone88 Because Kislev and Cathay are basically Dwarves but better in every way. Dwarves don't even had good artillery or shooting in TW3 and seem to be carried entirely by Thorek being so overly busted with rune spells.

Feel like Thorgrim needs a buff or a change, he feels quite outdated and sees almost no play

Maybe some mass increase would do him good. He is kind of slow, but also gets stuck a lot. If he could at least break out from heavy infantry it would help.

Valkia genuinely seems like a really bad lord. I don't think I've ever seen her survive a full match- She dies every single time, against stuff she should be good against. Yet she is the only lord people take when they play Khorne (Besides Outer, but he's built different.) I don't get what people see in her.

Yeah about the low Khorne win rate I think Khorne has a steeper learning curve compared to other factions because of the lack of ranged weapons and magic and the fsct that you have to be aggresive which a lot of average players aren't really used to doing

Its only in a small radius around Thorgrim himself, unlike Thorek's map-wide rune. Most of the tide unfortunately wouldn't benefit.

Idk in my opinion (someone who does love and main dwarfs) this match was over before it started. The dwarfs feel left behind when compared to a lot of other factions to the point where a lot of work needs to be done. Their shooting matches up with most factions and that’s about as far as it goes. They lack the speed to compete in domination, despite being masters of artillery in lore they have the worst artillery in the game comparatively, they have literally no sems unlike every other faction in the game (lords and gyro bombers don’t count you need just another flying unit to remove them). They’re “magic” is decent but the wait times are just too long. Also if you ever have problems with the lords just out run them the fastest has like 29 speed. I hope the dawi can be brought up to the higher level just for a bit when the new dlc comes out

Its because people only play half the Khorne roster. 50 shades of infantry gets boring really fast.

Sadly Thorgrim and the dwarf infantry in a nutshell are absolute trash; The issue is they simply are mostly pillowfisted besides blasting charges. You very much feel like Empire/Cathay but literally worse.

The fact that marauder horsemen beat thunderers in melee combat is such a joke. But obviously we cannot have chaos unit not being favored, that would be too much....

The dwarves really have to turtle and have that ranged support you basically divided the Dwarves into sections and defeated them in pieces looked easy

should of just camped grom in the mid but meh

khornes is too slow. You have to wanna have fun if you wanna play them.

Can't lie enjoy watching these but I'm sick of how prevalent chaos is, every other match is one chaos faction or another and more often than not winning as well.

Aye I've seen the stats on total tavern and I'm not trying to have a go, just feels like I haven't seen some factions don't appear/ win very often for a little while. Cathay doesn't appear very often and I can't remember the last time I saw the regular dwarfs win a match. But I do appreciate seeing more high/ dark elf videos recently they've been very entertaining.
