The best two out of those bands. Sodom,Carnivore,Pantera,Tankard,and Voivod are very worth listen to aswell. Most the other "official major" bands are overrated.

Played this 20 years ago right after the Northridge Earthquake on January 17, 1994 that shook the San Fernando Valley, and all those DAMN AFTERSHOCKS that followed scared the FUCKING SHIT OUT OF ME!!!! Thank God for Heavy Metal though. It got me through!!!!! LONG LIVE THRASH AND HEAVY METAL FOREVER!!!!! \m/

20 years ago today, the big earthquake rocked Los Angeles, and those "Aftershocks" that followed scared the living SHIT out of me!!! I remember playing this song a couple of days after that horrible quake, and it helped me to get through this ordeal.

Another underrated thrash metal song. One of the best songs in thrash

This song feels so "action" a flows so quickly, thats what I like! I dont get why its so underrated

I want to make a playlist that is all about nuclear war. Lets see, weve got fight fire with fire, aftershock, shattered, set the world afire, fabulous disaster, anyone else got any? Thats all i can think of right now

I'm a tad late to this, but there are some other songs I think would be fantastic for that playlist: "Hammer to Fall," by Queen, "The Manhattan Project," by Rush, "Nuclear War," by Voivod, "Thermonuclear Devastation," by Onslaught, "Thermonuclear Warrior," by Carnivore, and "Last Man Alive," by Whiplash.

It's easy to say they didn't created it, they just inspired it. If you say Motorhead created Thrash, you might as well say they created Black Metal D Beat etc... as well because the drumming patterns and riffs comes from Motorhead and other NWOBHM bands.

listen to TARGET EARTH by Voivod. (might be their BEST album, surprisingly!) Piggy's REPLACEMENT is doing stuff never heard before in Metal.

technically, motorhead created thrash. and, endgame, the system has failed, and cryptic writings are good albums. and even though everyone hates it, risk was good too. and almost no metal band can match the greatness megadeth had during their heyday, namely countdown and before. so yeah...
