God,this track is a perfect example of why I adore Scott and Dan's guitars sound on this album. They're just so damn chorusy and lively, and they really help to make sure every spot of the album is covered, and not feeling empty like a lot of the songs feel on Among The Living, which is a shame, because I love Among. But jeez, if Among had Spreading's production, I'd be drooling over it~

I love the "Manilla Road meets Iron Maiden" feel of that song, more heavy/US power than thrash in many ways, a great track with inspired riffs and melody! At that time being a thrash band wasn't just playing at the same beat all the time and recycling the same riffs ever and ever, those guys grew up in the 70s and took inspiration from the wide musical range of that period, modern thrash bands should the same instead of taking inspiration from just one aspect of thrash (some actually do, like Vektor or Revocation, who developped their own thing then, but most others just play boring generic up-tempo thrash without any identity).
