Anthony Smith spoke openly about his mental health after his victory at UFC 301 in Rio stating that he's in a very good place in life but also revealed there were darker times. Discussing how fighting has helped play a huge role in his life, Smith stated there was a time in his life where he wasn't sure if he would make it to 35.

I absolutely love people that don't discredit fighters that put there lives on the line for our entertainment. People talk so bad about this man and 98% of them wouldn't step in there and do what he does nor say it to him. He says what's on his mind and how he sees things and I totally understand when he says fans are stupid because they are
Never been a fan of Full Send but you are the best thing to come out of Full Send for sure. Great interviews man honestly.
He can be a little off track as a fighter or analyst at times but for sure he's a very down to earth family Man..The Lionheart inside the cage may be fading but he's just a really nice husband/father outside of that .
