I agree! I know theres a portion of us that are blaming him for this season, to me hes a 2-1. First season he took a 0-4 team to 9-7 at the cusp of a playoff birth. Last year we went 12-4 and won a playoff game. This year unfortunately not so great but I think he's got the dog mentality to get us where we need to go. Hopefully next year we can do better!

12-4 with a playoff win in 2018 to 5-11 in 2019? Telesco is the main reason for this. We ALL watched the Patriots in Foxboro knock Rivers around like a piñata and Tom Telesco DID NOTHING to address the O-Line. He did very little in Free Agency and had the WORST Draft of his tenure.

O-Line, D-Tackle, and depth players like S, CB, WR, QB and we can make a run. Gus Bradley to stop using Cover 3 all the time because it sucks against the run and short passes. If we mix it up instead of relying on Cover 3, we can be deadly, and utilize our LB core to its full potential, aka have a LB blitz so we have 5 people blitzing and confuse blocking assignments. I get tired of gus constantly using cover 3 so mix up the coverage gus.

All the great teams go out of there way to protect the quarterback so they can work...… not the Chargers...… a weak, immobile offensive line, poor pickup blocks by the backs, no game time adjustments, no adjustment of the plays, way too many penalties well into the season when individual technique should have been refined. None of that Philips fault.... he just tries to make something happen in an otherwise hopeless situation. I certainly appreciate the ball handling skill of our offensive guys, but, ……..

@@malcolmmency8567 He has at least 2 more playoff wins before he calls it quits. Flacco has 10 wins so does that mean he should be one of the most sought after QB's out there.

I'm talking about rivers here. Flacco has declined too but atleast flacco won a Superbowl. That's what I want as a chargers fan a superbowl not a playoff not 2 playoff wins. What sense does that make? 5 playoff wins since starting in 2006 and you want to bring him back. Your drunk. Haven't even won a AFC championship with this man.

And also unless we trade our 1st pick, that one should be on the RB to replace melvin Gordon. Ekeles it damn good but is not a rb1 he can't handle all the workinload a rb has to. Take JT then on the draft. And then next picks on OL. We need to make moves NOW or guys like Ingram bosa allen will just leave.

You need a oline to make holes eckler and Jackson can be a great one two punch. Oline needs to be the first priority to protect and make holes otherwise the running backs and qbs can’t make plays

done...no scenario that works with him on the roster. You have to draft a qb. Rivers wont make it thru another NFL season without the fans clammering for whomever is waiting in the wings. His ego cant handle that, go home be a husband and a father P Riv

I love Rivers but I want my chargers to win the big one and as hard as is it to say, it's time to move on from Rivers. The defense has been great and given the offense a lot of chances but the offense didn't help the defense and part of it was o-line and the other was Rivers. Time for new QB and work on that o-line. Go boltz ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡

@97RAVINEAVE agree! They've been drafting through the years to protect Rivers and it's not working. Get a mobile qb who can at least run and extend the play. There's really no more pocket passers in the future. Those days are done

Mikey tua is a dynamic athletic Swiss Army knife , with heap of ways to attack a modern NFL defense. Why start Tyrod? Oh You want another mediocre season huh? Tua has what all these qbs in the nfl draft lack. Pedigree, and hart. I’d take that monster of a man out of Clemson if he’s still on the board though.

Mikey You mentioned saving the pick right? Theoretically that isn’t possible. If he can just tone down the erratic play Tua can be the face of this franchise.

Mikey it’s football, he’s going to get hit. Obviously. Big Ben has 2 rings. Look man He’s had bad luck with injuries, he can make all the throws, has great decision making.
