Remarkable distinguished intelligent humble and superbly fine man. Ruthless fearless aggressively methodical mean fighter. The world boxing history never saw a Femi leave such a large print on the sands of time. Forget rhetorics (him greet Nigerians, him no hail Nigerians) forget haters(most racists) No boxer before now came this close to such universal fame. If there are beings on Pluto, Mars and other planets....dem go dey hail Joshua. Go JOSHUA !!!!!!!

He did nothing against Nigerians, instead, some of us treated the guy badly before fighting Ngannou. I’m in the US, I knew what some people said about how Ngannou will destroy him and that he’s not a good fighter. Few of us believed in him and will always do even after he retires. Let’s stand with our own, the same way we should with Air Peace going to London etc

@@BOXINGBLOCKCENTREMuhammad Ali was a man who could critique the looks of black men like me and we just fall all over him. In fact, we idolized the man eventhough he had a nasty character. We liked him because he was hated intently by those welding power. Listen, you should have known it for what it's worth with Joshua. I'm positive looking from the outside that Europe doesn't like African immigrants anymore than any other country. Listen, think hard with your insistence that Joshua apologize. There is a reason he and Fury hasn't fought to this date. You the reason too. So quit making the man humble. I'm sorry he destroyed your hero Ngannou, but Ngannou has Fury's number and thst is the fight to see again. Ngannou is Fury's problem. He never was Joshua's problem. You should be irate that the powers that be used Joshua to dismantle him. What I hope to see is Fury try to win his fan base back by taking on Ngannou and if, only if he is successful, then to mandatory fight with Joshua. None of this is going to happen. Fury will get DQ'd against Weak Belly Usyk and Joshua will be out of luck with becoming champion. I don't think for a second he was disrespectful to Nigeria. As you well know, 2nd or 3rd generation immigrants must assimilate to some degree. We all have to assimilate and accommodate. And when we do we look weak. Just say it, "We look weak". That is true. But trust me when I tell you this my friend, , "I am sick and tired of seeing Joshua forced to wimp out and apologize for trying to fit in in the most awkward environment imaginable. See you are not a heavy former champion constantly being derided much like a wimp by the media. Stop forcing him to further look wimpisn.

Thank you. Tiger Woods, a billionaire golfer apologizing to the public for extramarital affair made me sick to my stomach. This feels like that. I'm not buying this Joshua should apologize thing at all. There must have been umpteen million fans from here to Africa cheering against Joshua and for Ngannou. But Joshua won by knockout. The major problem about this mandingo battle is it does not address issue at hand. That issue is Fury running away from his requirement to prove he in fact can defeat Ngannou convincingly. But nooo Everyone wanted this pathetic mandingo battle instead. English of Nigerian descent vs. NIgerian. Yes, so the poster is right in a sense. When do we absolutely go national pride and when we do, then for whom? To satisfy whom.

I'm not gonna lie I'm not even Nigerian and i thought it was odd. Especially as his parents were there. I don't think it's worth over analysing. I assumed it was a case of him concentrating on making sure he shouted out his laundry List his team drilled him on especially the Dubai money men. And as a result he misses the obvious. I wouldn't be surprised if after he momentarily considered trying to get mic back but then remembered how bad it looked after the Usyk fight and thought better of it 😂

  • @henrynwosu1

Bros, I saw it for what I thought it was, an honest oversight. He done say na mistake. No need to start to explain his intentions. Personally, haters gonna hate irrespective. Ngannou came to fight and Cameroonians made sure their presence was felt. How many times have you seen that level of Nigerian contingent for AJ, Izzy, or Usman? Rather as soon as they loose, we’re usually the first to say how they weren’t good at first. 9 out of 10 Nigerians I spoke to said Ngannou will kill AJ, yet most of them have never seen AJ fight apart from highlights of Ruiz dropping him and Usyk throwing punches at him. Abeg we should let the man be.

I think Nigerians should be happy that Anthony Joshua still actually acknowledges Nigeria. Nigeria turned it's back at him when he turned down Britain to represent Nigeria as a boxer for the 2012 Olympics. If he decides to reject and not shout Nigeria, he has every right to do that. But thank goodness, he is a humble and patriotic individual. No matter what happens, Nigerians should be glad to have him as a Nigerian. He put Nigerias name on the map on a very large scale as a boxer. Naija, abeg make una support una brother come rain, come shine.

My most embarrassing moment while supporting someone is when AJ did that shout-out. I was like what de heck?😮😮 I am not happy at all. He also went ahead to say that Nigerians were the once that first attached him when he lost his match against Usik. When you talking about the few that govern us and you you wanna use it against innocent Nigeria that slept well and cried for him when he lost his matches. People that will not see u and your money can not come to them and change their lives, Does at the top need to know that what they do at the top makes someone day in Africa and we need to respect the innocent life's that fan us till death. AJ apology most be beyond this pictures we are seeing here. I stay awake for all AJ fights and we will be insulted in a night that we were all suppose to jubilate 😢. God pass u AJ, I still will you success and hope you fight with fury and beat him for me before I go forgive u 😂😂.
